Wattle Wattle - 51 Wattle Flat Road

Situated on 2.5 acres of private and picturesque surroundings just 4 km from Yankalilla, this is an 1890s Stone Cottage. 3 bedrooms and open plan kitchen and dining area along with a large open formal dining and living area to the rear of the home. (Please note this is an old stone cottage, right in the heart of the countryside. It does not have modern facilities.)

Location: 4 km from Yankalilla set on 2.5 acres of rural land
Bed Configuration: Sleeps 6 (3 bed/1 bath) Inc bath, 2 queens, and 2 singles
Features/Entertainment: Stereo system with cd and TV.
Heating/Cooling: AC to the lounge room and portable fan, portable electric heaters to each room, open Fire (Firewood not supplied)
Pets: Pets welcome
Fenced: Rural fencing
Special Features: Stunning rural views, Outdoor entertainment area
Cleaning: Cleaner will be hired on your behalf, and will be incorporated into the rental fee
Bedding: All duvets and duvet covers are provided, all mattress protectors are provided, and all pillows are provided.
Linen: Sheets and towels are not provided, guests must supply their own, OR Guests can hire linen packages through our Ray White Normanville office. (Prior ordering is essential)
Each pack contains the following items and can be ordered to suit bedding configuration and guest numbers: Top and bottom sheets, pillowcases, bath towel, hand towel, bath mat face washer, and T-towel

Disappointed

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The property is in a great location, close to where we wanted to be. However, as soon as we arrived at the property we recognised many dissimilarities of the property compared to the photos that are advertised online. The furniture is not what it is on the photos, the lounge couch is old and really dirty (not the red one in the photo) we placed a sheet over as we felt uncomfortablesitting on it. The house was dirty. Spiders and spider webs in every corner. You would go to put something down near a cupboard and your hand would get caught in webs. There were dead bees and spiders in the kitchen. Opening kitchen cupboards it smelt of mould...or other nasties. Rats/mice running on the ceiling at night woke us up. Cockroaches around. We almost left early. It was all really disappointing. Unfortunately, we will not be returning here again.

Absolute bliss

We had an incredible time staying at this beautiful property. What an absolute treasure this place is. It was such a breath of fresh air to have a girls trip get away to this country retreat in a gorgeous stone cottage with breath taking scenery. Morning coffee with the birds, ducks, kangaroos and sunset over the dam admiring all the lush trees on the grounds. The dogs were in heaven and so were we. Thank you!
