The space
I have lived at this address for only 2 years now although I grew up and lived locally all my life. I designed and had the lodge built when I moved here and I look upon it and my garden as a very peaceful sanctuary to escape the busyness of the world.
Sanctuary by the Shore is just 200 metres from the shores of Belfast Lough so you’ll find it a very quiet escape but in an extremely accessible location.
You have a king size bedroom with a modern en-suite and a bright and airy living space with kitchenette, sink, kettle, fridge, tea, coffee and other essentials .
SMART TV AND WI-FI
Dining table/workspace.
DOGS
I’m a big fan and have two very inquisitive miniature schnauzers, mother and daughter, Bella and Peggy, who will be very excited to meet our new guests but might torture you for treats and belly rubs, especially Bella!
So I hope you don’t mind these girls being around the garden.
You are very welcome to bring your own furry friend too.
If there is anything you require during your visit just ask as I’m more than happy to help with your requests.
Guest access
Your little sanctuary by the sea is solely yours for your stay, with a patio area which gets the sun all day long.
Other things to note
My little lodge is nestled at the back of my garden so please be aware you will be walking past my house to access it. There is parking for a car at the bottom of my driveway, which is on an extremely quiet road, only used now by residents and a bus service. The bus stop is right outside my house and can take you directly to Whiteabbey village, Belfast city centre, Carrickfergus and Whitehead. There is so much to do within the locality that a car is not a necessity. It is also possible to walk to the local train station which is 1 mile away.
