Liz is an absolute gem! She explained everything and gave so many suggestions as to where to go in the area. Very low key way to relax. "

"The grounds and the house itself are spectacular. Large kitchen and lounge, several comfy bedrooms. The house was very well stocked with anything you might need, from firewood to laundry detergent. There was bonus apple trees with delicious apples and 2 dogs that the kids adored. Some downsides - check in was a bit of a hassle. "This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish. "Magnificent views right out the window. Had logs on the fire ready to light. Ample space. Just remember you pay extra for oil and electricity. There's no grocery store currently in the town, but a lovely place to dine called Wild Rose Cafe right around the corner. We did have a few minor issues but Mr. Wallace came right over and took care of them."
