Great Location and Well Equipped

Great value for the price, comfortable and well equipped. We love staying at the McCloud property; it’s an easy walk to the beach/water and other amenities in Incline. Remodeling going on upstairs is a temporary inconvenience.

Perfect

We’ve stayed at McCloud many times over the years and have always enjoyed the properties. We particularly like the lower units as we are seniors and while we can manage them, this is always easier. The unit was great, as per the description described. In line is our favorite location and McCould is extremely close to our favorite Mexican restaurant, Lupita’s as well as the Hyatt, Raley’s and of course, the lake. I do have one suggestion though. Having a strip of bathroom lights on the wall above the mirror rather than one bright one on the ceiling directly above your head as you face the mirror would make it easier to apply makeup and do hair. It’s not a deal breaker but just a suggestion.Overall, the place was great though! Thanks so much!

Mountain feels !!

This charming condo offered everything we needed for our stay in Incline Village. It was warm and cozy just like being in your own home.! The owners gave very detailed instructions …. There were no questions unanswered!

McLoud Condo

The condo contained everything we needed during our stay. The beds were comfortable and cozy. The location is outstanding. The owner made it very easy with a detailed guest information packet. The updates are lovely.

Beautiful, well stocked, great location.

This condo is beautiful, nicely decorated, extremely well stocked (information, flashlights, bedding/towels, kitchen/dining stuff). Communication with both the management company and the owner was excellent, had all the info we needed. We love this neighborhood—was perfect for access to private Incline Beach and also restaurants we like. All within about a half mile walking distance for us (my husband and 2 year old). Very comfortable space (inside + outside deck and walking paths) and location for our little family vacation. The garage was also an added convenience (for our bikes, stroller, etc.). Will very likely stay here again next time if available.

Lovely home and setting

The condo was exactly as described. We lacked nothing - well maybe some chair cushions on the deck :). The location was perfect for our needs, it was clean, and the attention to detail was spot on. I, personally loved the art on the walls…thank you.

Great location, clean & well appointed

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was less than 5 minutes to Incline Beach and the path to walk/run, less than 10 min to Diamond Peak, and about 20 min to Mt. Rose. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed while we were there. I would stay again if we ever make it back!

Nice flat in the McCloud apartment complex

⁠McCloud is at walking distance to the lake and to grocery stores, and less than ten minutes drive to the slopes Pros & cons of unit: Pros •⁠ ⁠Competitive price •⁠ ⁠Furnished/accessorized with everything you need for a quick stay (utensils, cups, plates, and cookware) •⁠ ⁠Comfortable beds •⁠ ⁠Functional unit layout •⁠ ⁠Ease of lighting the fireplace with gas assisted fireplace and an abundance of wood made available to guests •⁠ ⁠Garage with door remote to park car overnight Cons •⁠ ⁠Unit location. First floor unit, no stairs but no privacy. Unit is surrounded on all sides by other residential buildings and all windows/doors are facing community pathways giving you very little privacy •⁠ ⁠The apartment might benefit from some detailed cleaning. Kitchen and baths were very clean. There was some layer of dust in a few places, but most bothersome to us was the pretty worn out and seemingly dirty carpet in the living room and bedrooms. •⁠ The TV entertainment system seemed to malfunction. Roku set top box kept hanging and restarting. Fortunately we had brought our own Chromecast •⁠ ⁠Loud tapping sounds in the master bedroom that would wake you up at night, probably due to rattling pipes or hot water circulation •⁠ ⁠Management list of checkout to do tasks (cleaning fireplace and running laundry cycle) would be fine if they didn't have close to $300 in cleaning fees •⁠ ⁠One missing “amenity” would be a selection of family board games

Beautiful Location!

Peace in the Pines

This was a great location for our end-of-summer family getaway! Even though it’s a large complex, during our stay it was so peaceful and quiet. The unit gave us space and privacy and the stocked kitchen made meal prep easy. We enjoyed access to the hot tub after a long day of hiking. Communication and cleanliness were some of the best I’ve experienced in a vacation rental!

Very nice condo in a beautiful setting

We had a wonderful stay at this condo in early August 2023. Condo in great shape, nicely furnished, and with a well-equipped kitchen (breakfast only for us). Very nicely landscaped property and a great location walking distance from both the beach and the stores. Highly recommended.

Clean, comfortable, cozy .. everything you need!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this property in early June. The location is quiet and bucolic .. it feels like you’re staying in the woods! Conveniently located to beaches (2 you can access), a fitness center, trails, restaurants, and of course the lake! We brought our mountain bikes and rode the Incline Village trails (which we could easily bike to) around the lake every day. The host has thought of everything in stocking this condo. We planned for meals out, but stopped at Safeway market & cooked our favorite things (Weber grill on the patio is a plus.) It was so easy & convenient since the condo is so well stocked. It was just 2 of us, but the king sized bed was quite comfortable. Only down side is the spa was being serviced, but we were notified in advance, and the weather turned around last minute & was warm & sunny, so we likely would not have used it on this trip. We will recommend this property to friends & would book again!

Had a great time!

Our experience was incredible, we had a lovely time. To start off, we originally booked in January but then that powerful storm hit northern California. The homeowner was gracious enough to work with us in rescheduling. Everything at the property was lovely and we had a fantastic time. The property is rented out through a third party so there is a small fee added to the total, so just account for that.

Incline Village condo

We loved this property. It was very clean and cozy. Very well stocked with everything you need to cook. Beds were very comfortable. It was nice to sit outside on the deck and look at the trees. Also, there was an owl in one of the pine trees. It's very quiet. We will be back!
