Spacious 4-bedroom Lakefront cottage in picturesque Bourne
10/10 Excellent
"Plenty of space for all of us and loved that it was in a quiet, secluded area away from the hustle and bustle of the Cape, but still close enough to enjoy all the Cape has to offer. The water level in the lake was way down when we visited, so we were not able to swim, but we did enjoy kayaking and fishing on the water! We brought our own kayaks, but there was a nice canoe at the house available for use as well. Furniture and beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was lovely after a long day of walking around the various Cape towns. Would definitely stay again! "

"Great location with beach and amenities within walking distance. Near Bike Trail which was great for biking and walking. The Daily Brew is a mile walk for morning coffee."
Beautiful spacious beach house located on a private beach surrounded by nature.
10/10 Excellent
"The house far exceeded any expectations we had: The views from every room, the comfortable beds, the outdoor spaces, I could go on and on. Our family will forever be grateful we had the opportunity to stay here. "
Oceanfront Pocasset Retreat: Hot Tub, Beach & Fire Pit!
6/10 Okay
"First the property location and views are fantastic. The house is very modern and attractive in the designer perspective. However attractive it is, however, it is far less than comfortable. Entry is either by the very low ceiling basement garage (too low for any car) or external stairs. The problem with the external stars is that the "railing" are just glass panels. Good for looks, but hardly safe in my opinion - same for the balconies - glass panels that don't obstruct view, but not very sturdy (the bracket holding at least one was loose and the panel shook). From the first day we had mechanical problems, - on a/c didn't work, water pressure in some sinks was nearly non-existent, ice make never worked, golf cart worked, but battery very weak and wouldn't work for more than a few miles before needing new charge - needs new batteries. Host was responsive, sent people to "fix" things, but not always with success. Property description is misleading. Claims four bedrooms, but there are only three and a sitting room that has a very uncomfortable murphy bed. Lastly, I suggest providing a listing of all locations of keys and codes for doors, instructions on lighting, etc. We had to email or guess many times. For location and views I give it a 5, but overall, a weak 3. "
"This rental property was a huge disappointment. The pictures advertised show a dated, yet cottage-style beach house. However, the pictures advertised were extremely misleading. The rooms were not decorated as shown in the pictures, and the entire house had chipped paint, broken furniture, and damaged (cheap) shades (tough to enjoy the view when the shade doesn't go up). The deck was not safe when we arrived (heads of nails sticking up), and many of the outlets were held together with electrical tape. Almost all appliances were operated off of cords plugged into extension cords. To operate the TV in the kids bunk room, the cord had to be run across the room to a wall outlet, causing concern that our children would trip or get hurt (not to mention our ongoing concern of an electrical fire with all of the cords and damaged outlets). The kitchen was filled with dirty dishes and utensils and there were pest traps throughout the house. There were even holes in some of the flooring and walls. The location of this house was the one saving grace, as it was literally steps from the beach. Other than location, the price of this rental does nowhere nearly reflect the quality of the property."
In Ground Pool, A/C, 4+BR, 3BA, Wifi, Game Room. Sleeps 10-12, strong wifi
10/10 Excellent
"This house was within short drives to beaches. The pool was an extra bonus as it kept kids busy after being at the beach. Adults relaxed and watched kids. Plenty of space for everyone which helped everyone to relax in their own space "
