“This was a retirement trip for my husband, and we chose this home because of its lakefront location. Unfortunately, due to the severe drought conditions at Lake Norman, we were not able to fully enjoy the lake during our stay. The water level in the cove was very low, which limited how far we could kayak, and the receding water also made fishing from the dock less enjoyable than we had anticipated. The host did let us know about the drought a few days before our arrival, although we wish we had……

“The property was perfect for our family gathering. Great location on the lake. The large dock is great for local boat rentals. The house was clean with many updates. The host thought of everything. He was welcoming and communicated well.”

“We enjoyed the lake view and hanging out on the dock. The location relaxing and convenient. It was nice to have the whole place to ourselves. The space was small but adequate for 4 people. We took advantage of the kayaks on site. The beds were very comfortable!!Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and dining. The host was very responsive & easy to work with. We would stay again!”
