One of my favorite places to stay. Very comfortable. Love the eating area and the offerings. It’s just cute and quaint. A good place to just get away.

Hotel was nice, clean, vintage decor beautiful. Room was comfortable nice size, bed was soft for a great night sleep. Will definitely stay again.

Quirky but Comfortable

This hotel is in a cool old building with a quirky charm. The room was very small and bare-bones, but the bed was great and view of the Columbia River was amazing! Hotel staff lives on-site so desk is usually unattended but a quick phone call will usually get you service in short order.

This property could probably qualify as a Historic Building, and it was a treat to stay in it. The bed was comfy, the hot water was plentiful, and the room, though on the small side, was clean and quiet. The on-site staff was available and helpful, when needed. The creaky floorboards, vintage furnishing and local artwork were homey, like visiting a cherished, family home. I was visiting the area for work, and appreciated the fast internet, easy parking and walkability to a few restaurants, a grocery store and the marina.

A cool older hotel, very eclectic type of vibe. Owner gave great dinner suggestions. Although rooms on smaller size, you can fine couches out in the public areas to read. Areas for improvement - not leaving laundry sheets in back hallway.

What a fantastic boutique hotel! The room was very spacious. Everything was clean. Lots of options for a continental breakfast. Easy check-in. But more than just having the basics, this place has character. The rooms and hallways and lobby are all filled with art and collectibles. There is a lounge with games, books, and puzzles. It is like being transported to another time.

Love it❤️

Had a wonderful stay. We had been camping the days before so we were hoping for a comfortable bed. The bed was amazing with great pillows and bedding. The hotel was quiet. The owners were pleasant and kind. We enjoyed the coffee shop across the street.☕️the bread and breakfast is a great place to eat. Cinnamon rolls were scrumptious! Thank you Cathlamet!

This is not a typical hotel. It’s very eclectic and charming! The customer service was top-notch, and I was so thankful to have a comfortable bed, clean room, and beautiful view. I was traveling alone with my kids so the spacious king bed and futon were perfect. The hot shower with great pressure was much appreciated after a long day of driving, and the breakfast room was a hit with my kids! Will definitely stay again!

Old historic hotel with charm

The hotel owner was very nice and agreeable. She allowed us to have a late check in at 10pm. She took the time to tell us the history of the hotel and about some of its quirks: creaky floors and skylights because the building was built before electricity was in widespread use. The room was a good size and clean. It was a little worn down but what do you expect in a tiny town? The continental breakfast had fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, and pastries. The one improvement i would make is that there were some boxes in the hallway, sheets on a table and other stuff sitting around. I would put that stuff away so the hotel does not become cluttered. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The owner was very personable and made us feel at home. As this is not a chain, we enjoyed learning about the hotel's history as well as the town. We would not hesitate coming back, and look forward to doing so.

Delightfully quirky!

Old school downtown hotel but modernized where it counts - elevator, very good breakfast room. Service very efficient. Good value - my room was small, but clean, modern bathroom. Look for the lava lamp in lobby and chickens in the back yard!

Stepping back in time

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cathlamet Hotel. It is a charming old building in the center of a picturesque village. It was like stepping back in time. The room was small but clean and comfortable. There was lots of common space to spread out and enjoy the charm of this historic building. It exceeded our expectations.

Updated, clean and central

Nicely updated older building in the heart of town. Very clean, with amenities that include a kitchen/dining area supplied with breakfast items. Small room. Overall appeal depends on whether you like older hotels.

We loved the Old school decore. The check in was made fun and easy. Our host was vary friendly to all of us and vary informative of the local area. And her invitation for a walk to watch a beautiful sunset was awesome. We would recommend this place to anyone who has an appreciation of the 1920's style hotels.
