“The castle is very unique experience (and authentic) and Robbie is a real character (in the best way possible)! Breakfast was excellent with a range of options. The room and bed was very comfy. You absolutely feel like you are going back in time. Would stay again. Also the walk down to the beach is worth the wee 2 minute walk as there are some amazing rounded beach pebbles to collect.”

“Everything about this experience was so unique and warm. It made our stay in Stonehaven so memorable! Everything is so clean. The room even came with a fan which my husband relies on at home. The kitchen is well equipped to cook your food if needed and the option to use the clothes washer was a huge bonus. Breakfast options were plenty and the coffee machine was exactly what I needed!”

“The advertising was very misleading. Expected a B&B with breakfast. When we arrived there was a note on a desk explaining the 2 plastic wrapped croissants and open items in the fridge were the breakfast. Room had a musty smell, bed and pillows are in need of replacement.”

“This is a beautiful house close to the harbor. We had a triple room with bathroom. Good size room, I wish my room in Edinburgh looked like this. The whole property is spotless and up to date. The hosts are very nice and helpful and serve a good breakfast with lots of options. It's worth spending more time and relax in the chill Stonehaven. They have on site parking.”

“Ce qui m'a plu, c'est la proximité de la mer et des commerces. La magnifique plage. C'est silencieux la nuit. C'est très propre. Ce que je n'ai vraiment pas apprécié c'est que la photo présentée sur Expedia est très trompeuse car il n'y a aucune chambre à cet hôtel qui correspond à cette photo. Aucune chambre n'a ce genre de grande fenêtre et de vue sur la mer. J'ai été très décue. Ma chambre était très petite, même pas de place pour déposer ma valise, le seul fauteuil était dans le……

“I stayed here the night before my wedding at Drum Castle and was able to utilize the late checkout so I could get ready there with my hair and makeup artists. My bridesmaids, mother, and I had such a great experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, the breakfast was delivered to my room and was delicious, and the property was clean and very relaxing. Lots of cute bunnies outside! We enjoyed our experience here very much and would stay again!”

It’s stocked with every possible amenity — even an espresso machine and ice maker. The kitchen is well stocked. The host is exceptionally responsive to any questions that may arise. Check in/out process was seamless. I would highly recommend for a 5-star experience.”
