Was seen soon as I walked in and being a pub the lovely lady told me straight away there was live music and it might be a bit noisy. Which I didn’t mind as I was going to work. The room I was in I didn’t hear much of the noise from downstairs at all lovely room food shower clean tidy if I had to grumble about anything it was the fact I had to go to work as the people in the pub downstairs all looked to be having an……

“No staff about when you needed them. Heating not working. Wasnt fixed when asked. Restaurant has been shut about 4 years, no food on site. Fire alarm went off at 4.45am and no staff on site. Fire brigade had to break in to reset alarm. Makes Fawlty Towers look like a 5 star! Dont be fooled by the pictures! Cheap and definitely not cheerful. Literally unable to contact anyone for a refund. ”

“Comfy bed. Heating unable to be controllef by guest. Room 12 was cold during night. Came on at 8am just as going out for breakfast. Stayed in better YHA for the money”

“I found the parking ideal right outside property and very safe. The property was spotless couldnt fault a thing. The breakfast was the best we will stop there again when we are in the area.”

“I loved staying at this pub/inn/hotel. The people who work there are friendly and welcoming. My room was comfortable and quiet. The pub was fun and social and the food was excellent. I will definitely be back.”

“Lovely accommodation in a great village. Good good but a little expensive. Hotel room was comfortable and modernised but bathroom was a little tired although it had a great shower with plenty of power and hot water. Drinks provided in room. Great price for good rooms.”
