“This was such a fun experience. ”

“Love the place.”

“We had a lovely week at the cottage, only one point taken off for comfort as we found the sofas very low and tired, we are seniors and maybe that’s why we were needing firm seats. Our hosts were both friendly and helpful and we were intrigued by the amount of squirrels 🐿️ constantly removing nuts from the tree opposite this was very entertaining. The weather was very kind to us only saw one day of showers. We were warm and happy with our accommodation and the area which we know very well, we……

“Good location, clean, parking good although one parking space was occupied by someone from another property occasionally”

“It was a lovely stay in a lovely location. A car is essential when staying here. I have one criticism. Whoever stayed previously obviously brought a dog that smelled. The odour was strong and pungent in the lounge and despite us ventilating the room it was still present when we left. Apart from that the cottage was fabulous. Thank you too for the welcome pack.”

“Overall, we had an okay stay, but I feel the property was overpriced for what it offered. The location was convenient, around a 30-minute walk or 25-minute bus journey into York city centre. Having on-site parking was a real bonus, as was the nearby supermarket. We also appreciated the baby gate on the stairs, and our children loved sleeping in the bunk beds. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. The property is advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, but in reality it has……

“Big, clean room that was everything I needed for three nights in York. Was able to store my luggage after check-out. Smooth stay :)”

“Place is very close to the train station and right inside one of the gates of the York city walls. My only complaint is that we booked the hotel choosing the “pay at hotel” option as we are travelling as a group of friends but one person was doing all the booking, but they charged us on the reservation credit card before we arrived, rendering that option completely meaningless to us.”

“A lovely, clean and modern house, with everything we needed for our short stay. A 7 minute cab ride to the centre of York. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were spotlessly clean.Just a heads up - the bathroom is downstairs, which we didn't notice on the listing, so our fault not the host's, but just to mention in case anyone is concerned about having to go downstairs in the night for the loo!Would happily stay again.”

“Jeg kan ikke anbefale dette sted nok! Kombinationen af komfort og den fantastiske omgivelser gjorde opholdet uforglemmeligt,”

“Parfait pour une escapade le week-end ! La kitchenette avait tout ce qu'il fallait, et le jardin était un endroit agréable pour se détendre,”
