Unclean

While the house is cute, it was not in a desirable neighborhood. But the factor for our family was the unclean state of the home. We had to come in and clean the kitchen from floor to ceiling as nothing had been truly cleaned and was sticky with dirty hand marks everywhere. We had to clean the refrigerator out and the stovetop was disgusting! The laundry room was even worse! We had to clean the washer and dryer before even utilizing the appliances. When we looked beside and behind the washer and dryer, we almost threw up - the dirt and filth build up was astonishing! The furniture is falling apart and we had to put our legs up against the dining table legs when we sat down to eat so the table wouldn't fall over. The front porch lights didn't work and there were a couple outlets that did not work as well. The carpets had not been swept either. We are stunned that anyone would think that this home is ok to rent out in that unclean state. We would like to respectfully request that our cleaning fee be reimbursed.

Great location and Spacious

This house was perfect for our party of 6. We were attending events located near the river and a game at Williams Brice which were all close by and east to go to. We also enjoyed the River Walk in the mornings. The house itself has plenty of room for hanging out whether it be inside or on the front porch. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is well stocked.

Great property. Updated, well appointed, and cozy. Great neighborhood close to USC campus yet far enough away. Highly recommend.

Dust

It was a good experience throughout. We were in town for my son’s graduation and things were about 10-15 min out, so not too bad. The property had everything we needed in a quiet neighborhood. When you drive up to the property you get a feeling that you maybe going the wrong way due to where the neighborhood sits. It is kind of tucked away and if you aren’t from the area one may think to themselves “where are you taking me”. The house was pretty clean except for built up dust on the fans, window sills and light fixtures. It was a beautiful set up and with plenty of towels and blankets. I wanted to extend our reservation, but the messages on VRBO perhaps a delay on the app made it seem that the manager was not responsive. Once again thank you for allowing me and my family stay in your beautiful home.
