Peace and Quiet

Perfect spot for our family, especially our 2 dogs. Never heard any fireworks the entire week. Beautiful location in the Redwoods and Cool in a very hot heat wave!

Nice and clean!

House was prepared and instructions we’re clear for operating things. Definitely would go back. One thing I would say is the double doors to go outside, due to the cold weather, we’re very difficult to open and I would recommend fixing that so someone doesn’t break those nice doors. Other than that, the place was excellent and we would go back again for sure. Great quiet, scenic place !

Probably not a great place to stay in the winter

We arrived around 10 pm on the night of our check in. The house was 50° inside. There is no central heating unit, just a couple baseboard heaters in the bedrooms and some space heaters in the closet. It would have great for someone to stop by earlier to warm the place a little. The space heaters would pop the breakers if we did anything major in the kitchen. So they are not the most ideal solution to have to deal with at a vacation rental. It would be nice to just have a thermostat on the wall with a mini split.

Nice house and hot tub

This is a spacious and well-appointed house. The hot-tub is nice and the view out back is nice. A few glitches - the electronic lock didn't work properly so we had to call the emergency number in the dark. Good thing was someone responded quickly and gave us a code that worked. Also, the space heating system was inadequate in the winter - portable heaters popped the breakers. Otherwise everything was fine.
