It took us 75 minutes from Mactan International Airport to reach the property on a private transfer. The roads to the resort are very narrow and congested. The resort is somewhat remote and has started to show its age. The furniture in the lobby needs updating & are uncomfortable. Upon arrival, there were 6 people ahead of us at the check-in counter and took 30 minutes before we got served. As our flight arrival was midday, our room was not ready and we had to wait for the 3 pm check-in. The assigned room was basic, had this tiny little ant looking insects crawling on the table, had a partial view of the ocean and standard bathroom essentials. The following day, we requested to be transferred to a different room as the room was located near the elevator and every hallway, elevator noise can be heard inside the room. At 3am, there was a smoke alarm that kept going on the room next door which woke us up and we reported to the front desk. Maintenance came and seems another issue came up and they kept trying to close the door which banged continuously for at least 5 minutes. The food at the main restaurant was above average. The service was acceptable but made special by William, the concierge was courteous, kind and very helpful with assisting us with transportation, recommending places of interest,

Check-in could have been smoother had I known I needed my travel website reservation number, and that the room deposit was per night not per stay. Staff was helpful always. Room was nice, clean and showers hot. Hotel could be better if laundry service, room service availability times were opened earlier than 6am for those early risers or late returners. Hotel should prevent room doors from slamming, or guest talking/singing after 10p. I could hear the doors slamming/loud talking at 4am. I would return if I got another deal.

I’ll never stay here again! They had water condensation from their AC units dropping in restaurant and even on walking areas to the hotel rooms! I had to upgrade doubling the price to get king size bed vs 2 doubles!!

Avoid. Too expensive for the low quality

The resort is a work site! As all work sites, the hall, the lift and even the room are all as dusty as a work site can be. And even if new is poorly built.. One problem among many....The new room had the shower evacuation opposite to the incline of the evacuation, result bathroom flooded at every shower. The beach is man made and doesn't have sand but dust and you cannot swim more than 5 meters out, as it is enclosed. It is a terrible resort unless you have a family with many small kids and you do not want to leave the hotel, and you have very low standards. Well in fact you can't leave the resort as is in the middle of nowhere... It is a very bad quality for the price.
