“This property has everything you need for a friends weekend. Pickelball, pool, basketball, even golf hitting net were all used by our group and we enjoyed the TV room and large outdoor space. Takes a little navigating to get there, but the directions were well done and communication with the owner was great. They were very responsive to all of our questions. Would highly recommend this place for groups.”

“As others have noted, the space is very clean, well appointed and conveniently located. I'd like to add that the hosts have done a wonderful job of representing the community in the home. Their art collection is lovely and features local artists. The books placed are all interesting and about the area; even the chocolates were purchased from a locally owned store. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.”

“Check-in was easy. The house was ultra clean with new appliances. I could tell the house had been recently renovated, and I appreciated how tastefully it had been decorated.We weren’t in town long enough to do much cooking, so I’m not sure about needed pots and pans.”

“House could not be located any better. Was within walking distance of downtown. Very short drive to many different attractions for everyone in your party. Located in beautiful and friendly neighborhood. Was very comfortable and had all the amenities as if I was in my own home. Owner was amazing. She made me feel right at home. Available at any time if needed.I highly recommend this beautiful home if traveling/staying in area and in need of accommodations. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here over the July 4th weekend. We spent many hours on the front porch watching the sun rise, the boats pass by, birds soar, including bald eagles nesting nearby! The house is charming and very well equipped. We appreciated the binoculars to watch birds and fireworks. Betterton Beach is a short walk. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommend! ”

We enjoyed the beach area, sunsets and walks in the neighborhood. We brought our own kayaks and fished... caught lots of catfish!! We brought our bikes for Chesapeake City.We enjoyed the Bohemia Manor Winery nearby. Great sunsets and great memories! Thanks again! ”
