「We stayed 2 nights in the carriage house at the Litz mansion. Immaculate- great steam shower, comfortable bed and pillows/ Everything you could want or need! Considering places to stay in the area, the Litz house and the especially the carriage house are way better than the other options.」

「We first visited Tazewell 3 years ago when there was 8 of us riding the Back of the Dragon and we had a great stay at The Litz.This visit was great even though there was only 2 of us, we had the whole house to ourselves. It was like a grown-up version of Home Alone!」

This location was perfect, conveniently a block or so off of the main street but the trees and landscaping made it feel remote and secluded. 「We loved our stay at the mansion and it meet our overnight needs perfectly. We thought we were the only ones there, but in the morning there were several other guests so that attests to how quite it was. The kitchen and living and dining areas were wonderful. I really appreciated the coffee after a somewhat wet hiking experience. 」

「The house is a little run down, floors crooked, carpet stained up, etc but for what I was staying there for it was just fine for me. The ac works, full kitchen and bathroom, everything worked and was clean for what it is. If your going riding with some buddies it's good..」
