Feels like home

It was a one night stay on our way to Ocracoke but it was very home like and memorable. Such a familiar atmosphere. We felt very at home. The little touches helped! We would definitely recommend staying here and will do again!

the photos made it appear there weren't neighbors, that was my main issue. However the place itself is immaculate and stocked with everything. A regular coffeemaker and a keurig! snacks, poptarts (but no toaster), an assortment of spices for cooking, dishes etc. the bathrooms had plenty of towels, washcloths, even had individually wrapped travel toothbrushes with a tiny tube of toothpaste! host answred all questions quickly.

The host is very friendly and helpful. We had some issues with the door lock and he was able to reset the lock instantly over the phone during check in. The rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen are very clean with more than enough supplies, although the kitchen plates are all plastic and worn. The retreat is very cozy and is only 7 minutes from the ferry, very convenient. We had a good sleep.
