「It was a perfect place for our small summer get away. Kids had a blast swimming in the lake and loved being right on the lake!Emily was very accommodating and very prompt with any questions we had! 」

「We had a wonderful time. Dogs were welcome and the view of the lake was lovely. I did think there was going to be a hot tub.....(maybe I misread something).Laura was wonderful to work with and got right back to me with answers to any questions I had. Definately stay again when it's a little cooler. Plenty of room, blankets, and towels. Host even provided coffee. The person had very clear communication part throughout the whole process. They always reached out to me within 24 hours of me sending a message to them when we got there. It was beautiful. 「We came to Clear Lake for a concert at the Surf. The house is very close! The host let me know about the farmer’s market in the parking lot of the Surf on Saturday mornings, so that was very convenient! The games were nice, there was a chair in the living room that we were all obsessed with, and there were a ton of extra blankets and pillows all around the house for lounging! It was a great little house and had more than enough space for our two couples. The host didn’t reach out after check-in...

「This place was perfect for our family group of 7 adults and 3 children.Plenty of room to spread out. We could be upstairs and cook, eat and hang out or be chilling in the basement playing pool or watching a movie.Home and kitchen was well stocked and even included complimentary coffee! The two sets of washers and dryers for laundry in the basement is a great idea for larger groups!The owner was easy to contact and was very helpful. Apparently the previous guest may have lost or misplaced the key...

「We stayed for a week and had such a wonderful time. The home is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and the photos are a perfect description. While we were there we saw fireflies, an owl, bunnies, a doe and fawn, chipmunks, squirrels, cardnials, and many others birds. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. We absolutely would stay here again.」

「We had a fun time staying at this house. We visited downtown Des Moines and had a great time at Adventureland. The only suggestion would be to have some dish towels in the kitchen. The arcade games, ping pong table and skee-ball were popular with the kids. 」

「We came to Des Moines for the wrestling state tournament. We were just a block and a half away from the skywalk to hop on and stay indoors the whole way to Wells Fargo Arena.This home was clean, easily accessed, and just what we needed for a short stay! Great communication with the owners :)」

「Easy to get to and from where we needed to be. Small but clean and met all the needs for sleeping except one part-basement included sleeping option for the couch but doesn’t work if you’re over 6 feet tall. We managed with that since it was a teenager. :) Overall we’re planning to stay again!」
