"Room smelled like a dog kennel, carpet was filthy so I put on some socks but then they got wet from the carpet. Disgusting. Check in was awful and i stood in line for about 20 minutes (2 people in front of me) and they couldn't find me a room however the staff was very nice"

"This is a great find in Ely. There is a bit of construction on the main drag but once done, it will be so much nicer and the downtown will be revitalized. This property is walking distance from downtown. They gave us a breakfast voucher for a local restaurant (in walking distance) and the food was top notch. The property is vintage, but relatively peaceful and super clean and tidy. I'm pretty sure it's headed for boutique chic in a few years. "

"TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!!!!! This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The hotel is super old, the bed and pillows are terrible, sheets stained , I didn’t even take a shower because the bathtub was stained and it grossed me out. The carpet is dirty and torn, There’s no microwave or refrigerator in the rooms (#114). By 7 PM there’s no one at the front desk anymore you need to call them and of course NO ANSWER!! Do yourself a favor and avoid this dump. Breakfast is just milk and cereal—they don’t have anything else. If could give them 0 star I would, Worst experience ever!!!"
