"Everything was as clean as could be during break up in Alaska. It's very hard to keep ALL the dirt out when people wear their outdoor shoes in from the mud and snow"

"I called this hotel directly and asked if the pool and hot tub were open and working (because they are notorious for being broken) and I was told yes. Only to show up and they are in fact NOT open and have not been for a month. I was told I must have been on the call with an AI bot. I asked for a manager to call me in the morning. No call ever. I would never have stayed in this hotel and paid the amount of money I paid, if I had not been lied to. I could have saved money staying with a friend or at another lodging facility but I paid the money under the guise that there would be a functional hot tub and pool. I will never stay at this hotel again, even if they do get the pool and hot tub fixed… which I doubt will ever happen. "

"The hotel room had a large stain in the middle of it and the shower head was old and corroded. I was traveling by myself and didn’t feel comfortable at night because the room only had one lock on the front door which is opened by a metal key. "

"Wonderful place to stay. I had to come to Soldotna for school and stayed here for a little over a month. The house is within perfect walking distance to the hospital for clinical rotations. It was the perfect home away from home and had everything I needed for an extended stay. The neighborhood is incredibly peaceful and quiet. I enjoyed my time in the home. "

"Good communication with host, nice location in downtown Soldotna (close to the high school), but definitely make sure you look at how to get there, it can be a bit confusing on the GPS."
