We prepare the apartment so you can settle in right away. On arrival, the fridge will have milk, yogurts, drinks, cereals, and a few simple essentials. Tea, coffee, and snacks are also provided. A bottle of white wine is left for each group of guests. Toiletries are supplied, so you can refresh after your journey.
Your stay is completely private — no shared spaces and no interruptions. If you need anything during your visit, we are quick to respond with local tips, extra towels, or help with directions. Otherwise, we give you full privacy.
About Cesis
Cesis is a well-kept medieval town in the Gauja region. First mentioned in 1206, it later became part of the Hanseatic League and is known today for its castle, cultural life, and access to nature. The area is great for city walks, exploring historical sites, or spending quiet time outdoors. Many travellers visit as a day trip from Riga, but staying a couple of nights gives you time to enjoy the atmosphere and surroundings at a relaxed pace.
This apartment works well all year round as a comfortable base for exploring Cesis and the Gauja National Park area.
