This property was one of the WORST motels, properties I have EVER stayed at, and should NOT even be open! We could NOT stay there due to the horrible smell, odor in the room. Lesson learned! While the pictures on the internet looked GREAT? This motel was everything but GREAT! Chrck.out motels in person BEFORE you book 3rd party!

Made a reservation using Expedia Friday morning. I tried calling several times within an hour of arriving within the advertised lobby hours but no one answered. When I got there no one was in the lobby and a posted sign said they were sold out so I had to find another hotel, the nearest of which which had openings was 50 minutes away.

Hard to say anything good. Initially, I couldn't get the door open. The lock was lose and wiggled. Once inside, the carpet appeared soiled. And it got worse. The lamp between the bed didn't work. I found it was unplugged. Plugging it in worked. We couldn't get the TV to connect to any channels. The ring for the smoke detector was empty. Looking on a shelf, there appeared to be a smoke detector. The toilet handle had to be jiggled to stop the flow for the tank to fill. Hot water was constantly dripping into the tub. There didn't seem to be any way of regulating the room heat. The Internet sucked. It was so damn slow it was unusable. I understand the rates are very competitive as other motels in town were much higher. But this was ridiculous.

There was no thermostat no washcloths, no hand towels and no bath towels. Very cold and no heat. No light bulbs and the vents had lint as though the filters had not been changed. This stay was a disaster

We had no clean bath towels, they did bring us some just fresh out of the washer and dryer, The carpet was badly stained, do not know if it had been vacuumed. We basically had no air conditioning. They had to go down in the basement to turn it on. We had to ask twice, never did get cool. Bathtub hot water was dripping bad,so hot water was hit and miss. The young couple working their were very pleasant. The place really needs some restoration. I can see paying $40 for that but not eighty.

Avoid this motel! We were looking for a place to spend a night on our trip and Chadron was the closest town. There were only Holiday Inn for over $300 and Motel Grand for $112, which had decent reviews, so we decided to book a room with two queen beds. When we arrived at about 10PM reception was closed, but we called number on the door and 20 minutes later a guy arrived. He confirmed that we have reservation but said that there are no rooms with two queen beds available (they are not cleaned). There was only one unit occupied, but I saw on the computer that remaining units were marked red – not occupied but not cleaned. He told as to wait, and sometime later came back saying that he has the room for us. The room was dirty, everything was old and stained, there even was garbage in the garbage bin, and we had impression that linen wasn’t replaced after last guests, just smoothed. We slept using our sleeping bags and left the room as early as we could. I have the feeling that this place prepares the rooms only when they have bookings and of course highly overcharges. I am shocked that such place is listed on hotels.com!

When I arrived first off overflowing trash can at the office door. Next, the key and doorknob were broken before so my key didn't work. Continuing on, I went back to the office to have him open the door, on the way to my room he threw up in the overflowing trash walking out. Back in the room, no temperature control, TV didn't work, back to office again. Put a channel on...ok. The rug is dirty and stained. The sink had toothpaste remnants in it, the toilet still had used poop TP and dried pee all over. He was un clean and sweaty with no shoes and bed head. I felt unsafe with the door being broken. I will not be going back, Ever!
