Heating was broken, dishwasher did not clean properly, no hot water in evening, then internet went down in storm affecting TV, with little to no contact with owner. Points for improvement- property is very new feeling with little thought to cooking practicalities- no chopping board, zero space to prepare food which is disappointing. BBQ was available apparently but never seen. Aircon essential and very good in living room but nothing - not even fans in the bedrooms. ...

"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."

The owners added extra touches with fresh bread, homemade soup and cake they had made with fresh produce from their garden. The children loved it and said they felt like they were in a treehouse!!! Lovely pool and seating area although it was a bit cold for us to enjoy it yet!!"
