Nestled in Franklin County, this rustic cottage is a perfect destination. If you are looking for a place to get away and defrag from your busy life, This A-frame cottage offers all the comforts of home in a quiet, secluded area that has been described as refreshing and renewing. Surrounded by captivating views and the sounds of nature and within minutes of local shopping, dining, year-round festivals as well as the historic Capitol Theatre, you’ll quickly see why our guests become family. Sit by the campfire and make some s’mores! (Chairs and Firewood provided)

Experience a piece of history with a tour of Gettysburg battlefield or visit one of our local wineries, all within an hours drive. Want to take a day trip? We are central to the following cities: Gettysburg, Washington DC, Baltimore MD.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cedar Hill. It's located in a beautiful, quiet setting that's not far from local dining, shopping or attractions. The outside of the house is well kept which continues to the inside. When we entered, the first thing we noticed was how clean it was. It was obvious that a high attention to detail was used in the design and build of the cottage. It is well stocked with most of what you need and has a great coffee bar. We highly recommend staying here and plan on returning in the future!

Fantastic Getaway
Our 2nd stay at this beautiful quiet cottage - last time was in 2022 and since then the owners have put in a new deck, new kitchen appliances, and coffee bar. Spotlessly clean as before, everything well kept up and in working order, and (what we love best) a beautiful quiet location. Close to Chambersburg stores & restaurants but you can easily spend the day enjoying the peaceful surroundings from the front deck or thru the front windows. Loved it, loved it, loved it and hope to get back again.

Serene escape
Beautiful house, incredibly clean and well maintained, with a beautiful view. Excellent hosts. Very well stocked, particularly the coffee bar and kitchen. Really, we felt like personal friends of the host. Plenty of books and games for all ages. Our family of four was very comfortable and had a wonderful weekend away from the city. Loved our 2 night stay at Cedar Hill cottage. Secluded off the main road on a beautiful piece of property. Selena was a gracious host who was readily available to answer any questions we had. This cottage is full of amenities that we thoroughly enjoyed. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

The layout of this house is fun for my kids—with the loft and the spiral staircase—and works really well for my family. This was our second time to stay at Cedar Hill Cottage and we enjoyed it just as much as last year. The yard is well-kept and great for playing catch and paper airplane competitions.

Beautiful little Cottage
My husband and I decided on a weekend getaway for my birthday . This place was perfect. It was clean, quiet, with just enough room. A small family of 4 could rent this place. I will definitely want to rent here again.
