Perfect view and location.

My family just enjoyed a week of skiing and eating at the perfect location for us. The views of the mountains from the massive living room windows cannot be done justice with pictures. Every bedroom had their own bath, which is great for privacy for a long stay. All the restaurants, free busses to the mountains, and a few lifts were all within walking distance. It was perfect for my 76 year old dad, who doesn't ski. He could stay and read in the living room with a great view, but also walk 5 minutes into town to eat, drink, or shop. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful spacious home with spectacular views

We were a party of 10 adults ( 2 families) enjoying the Christmas and New Years Holiday at Jean-Claude’s spacious and well equipped home. We skiied many days as well. Home is situated close to slopes and ski rental. We were able to walk to town easily. We cooked several big meals and most breakfasts and the kitchen is spacious for several cooks to maneuver in. Shopping for food and gifts in town is easy and convenient. The house has a beautiful main living area with awe inspiring views of the mountains, cozy fireplace, couches and large dining table. Bedrooms are comfortable and clean with plenty of storage and each with en-suite bathroom (Quite a luxury!) Jean-Claude is a gracious and helpful host. He gave us many useful suggestions for dinners out, skiing and renting equipment. He was quickly responsive to any questions we had. We would recommend this home without any reservation. Many many thanks!

Excellent layout and location

This house has a great layout for entertaining multiple groups of friends. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. The sauna is great. The location couldn't be better. Thanks!

Beautiful home in Chamonix

We loved staying in this beautiful home. The views were stunning and the house was comfortable and inviting. The kitchen was well equipped. Jean Claude was a wonderful host. We loved sitting on the deck in the sun and gazing at the mountains.

Perfect beautiful family house near city!

We were 11 persons from 10-77 years old, 3 generations, celebrating our daughters 50- year birthday. All love skiing apart from us two older who liked nearness to the city, and also all cabins taking dus and the skiers up to the hills with breathtaking views and nice skiing.! The house and our host was just perfekt with view of Mont Blanc outside our large Windows! Recommend it to all ages! Per and Eva and families.

We loved our stay at Chalet Safari

Jean-Claud was the perfect host. He is knowledgeable about the area being the mountain guide so he gave us plenty of good advice. The house has mesmerizing view that It was sad to leave at the end of our stay. Layout of the house is perfect for a big group of friends with 5 bedrooms (can be configured into double or single on demand) and 5 bathrooms. It has a nice big kitchen and laundry. Parking is available on site. Fabulous location. Within minutes of Chamonix town centre. Loved our stay. Will be back soon.

Nice views

Nice views from the chalet looking out on Mont Blanc, bit of a walk to the al praz cable car, only a short walk to town however. Top floor of chalet very nice however basement in need of renovation ( rooms were dark, only had 1 light fitting working and plugs hanging of the wall) was a bit shocked to find no sugar to make tea or coffee etc. we also had no soap in the bathrooms to wash hand and washing up soap in the kitchen. We found the chalet to be cold of an evening and couldn’t locate the thermostat anywhere. Other than this the chalet is very nice in a quiet part of chamonix ideal for big groups, however a few minor let downs

Runner's hut

Perfectly situated for running several of the UTMB races. While we only utilized the main floor bedrooms, all were comfortable, quiet and had beautiful views of the mountains. The laundry line and outdoor patio were a godsend! We had very mild days and cool nights, so we loved have the large open doors and windows for airflow. We also prepared most meals in the kitchen and appreciated the gas stovetop and large refrigerator. While there were not measuring cups or spoons, we utilized a number of the pans and pots, French press, electric kettle, and dishwasher. Would return in a heartbeat!

Picture perfect

Property was fantastic. Easy walk to city centre, fantastic views, and in a quiet neighbourhood. All rooms were well appointed with two single beds and an en-suite. Excellent for stays with multiple families/groups. Would definitely visit again.

Chamonix Training camp

We used the chalet for a running training camp for ten people. Chalet was excellent with ample room and facilities for ten people. Views are stunning, some of the best in Chamonix

OMG

Le chalet safari est un vrai havre de bonheur : beau, grand, pratique, bien placé, bien organisé ... Nous étions 10 et pas une seule fois nous ne nous sommes marché sur les pieds, meme en cuisinant tous ensemble dans la cuisine ! De l'accueil au départ tout était facile et nous pensons déjà aux dates pour l'année prochaine ..

Perfect in so many ways!

We loved this house! It was in an excellent location with a quick walk to the heart of Chamonix. The house was clean, spatious and loved that each room was an en-suite. The views were stunning and Andy, the property manager, was very nice and quick to respond. We’d definitely stay here again!

Très beau chalet en face de l'Aiguille du Midi

Le chalet est bien situé, à 10-15 min à pied du centre ville, avec une très belle vue depuis les chambres et le salon sur l'Aiguille du Midi. Andy, personne de contact, est très agréable, disponible, et réactif. A notre arrivée, les espaces de vie commune ainsi que les chambres étaient très propres, mais le reste n'avait pas vraiment été lavé/préparé, ce qui nous a à la fois surpris et déçu : - congélateur, machine à laver et à sécher le linge, micro-ondes dans un état lamentable - appareil à raclette, machine à café et vaisselle à disposition non lavés Le sauna ne fonctionnait pas correctement au début, mais Andy a eu l'amabilité de se déplacer une heure après l'avoir contacté pour le réparer! Par ailleurs, si la cheminée fonctionnait très bien, nous avons été un peu surpris de devoir acheter nous-mêmes le bois pour en profiter (au prix de la location, c'est tout de même un peu pingre...) Au final, il manque un effort significatif sur la propreté pour que les prestations du chalet soient à la hauteur de son charme et à son cachet !

Special and Spacious with an Incredible view of Mont Blanc

Lovely chalet. Good sized bedrooms with clean, modern ensuites. The comfortable living room had enormous windows which made the most of the amazing view of Mont Blanc. There's an outside seating area/deck that we used every day. A real sun-trap that it was difficult to tear ourselves away from! The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, crockery and cooking implements. A little worn in places but nothing that was a problem, it would have been nice if the beds were bigger and extra pillows would have been useful. We loved the table football!

Un excellent séjour.

Nous avons passé 4 jours, nous étions 5 couples; le chalet est très bien situé à tout juste 400 mètres du centre ville. Sortez sur la terrasse et levez les yeux.... vous êtes aux pieds de l'aiguille du midi et du glacier. Le chalet est bien équipé avec 5 chambres qui ont chacune de très belles salle de bain et wc, la cuisine est bien fournie (verres, assiettes, bols, etc). La prestation globale est d'un très bon niveau. Le propriétaire a été à notre écoute avant et après la réservation, il a répondu à nos demandes très rapidement. Je recommande ce chalet pour vos vacances.

amazing place to stya in Chamonix

the chalet is much nicer than how it looks on photos. perfect location, amazing view, fully equipped and very relaxing. i would definitely do it again and would highly recommend it.
