Welcome to Chalet Meta, a riverside retreat in the heart of Chamonix that reimagines the
traditional mountain cabin for the modern adventurer.
Part of the Brennus Homes collection, our chalet celebrates the vision of three families who fell in love with Chamonix Valley and created spaces that balance the warmth of a home with select hotel comforts.
Designed by an Australian architect known for transforming compact spaces, Chalet Meta
makes intelligent use of its footprint while never compromising on quality or comfort.
The natural wood interior creates warmth, while large windows connect you to the riverside setting and mountain views.
The sleeping area features a comfortable bed positioned to capture river sounds and mountainair. Clever built-in storage maximizes space throughout. The living area centers around a wood-burning fireplace set against stone walls, with a dining table perfect for sharing meals and making memories.
The kitchen is well-equipped with quality cookware and appliances, including a dedicated coffee nook for your morning ritual. Downstairs, unwind in your private sauna after a day of mountain exploration.
Step outside to your private deck overlooking the river, ideal for summer dining with Mont Blancas your backdrop.

The Neighborhood
Chalet Meta enjoys a privileged position in southern Chamonix that balances tranquility with convenience. The sound of the river creates a peaceful atmosphere, while the Mont Blanc massif provides a stunning backdrop.
You're just steps from the Chamonix Aguille du Midi train station (connecting to Flégère and Argentière), a five-minute walk from the bus station, and walking distance to the Aiguille du Midi cable car. Chamonix's main street with shops and restaurants is only 200 meters away.
Other Things to Note Chalet Meta is named after pioneering female mountaineer Mary Isabella Charlet-Straton, who completed the first winter ascent of Mont Blanc in 1876. Her adventurous spirit and connection to these mountains inspire the experience we've created.
The space is ideal for couples or solo travelers, with the possibility of accommodating a thirdperson on the convertible sofa. Though compact, the cabin offers thoughtful luxury touches – from the sauna to the fireplace, from the riverside setting to carefully curated lighting for evening ambiance.
As part of Brennus Homes, Chalet Meta reflects our commitment to creating mountain retreats that encourage conviviality and shared memories in a modern, elegant alpine setting.
