「Our stay here was ok. Everything was clean but it was a stay without character or friendliness. The staff were extremely formal and the whole experience (stay and food) was very expensive compared to the other places we stayed during our trip, despite being in a smaller town. We prefer a more authentic experience. It is close to the centre, however, so all the interesting temples and shops were within walking distance」

「The area was generally very dirty. The entrance to the hotel was being used as a shop for Chinese girls to get dressed up and having makeup. Hence it was as you were entering a small fitting room. The staff could hardly understand a word of english, while we had to ask for very standard supplys such as toilet roles to be provided to the room.」

「Located just inside the old city so close to the sights, restaurants etc. Boutique style. Staff were friendly and welcoming but don’t expect much English spoken. There’s just enough for basic checking in etc although written messages pre check in were very useful. A driver was arranged for me to pick up and drop off at station at a cost of CNY30 each way.」

「O hotel é maravilhoso, com uma decoração bem típica e o quarto, embora pequeno, bastante aconchegante. Localizado próximo de um dos portões de entrada da cidade antiga, bem em frente a muralha. 」
