「The Novotel in Clermont-Ferrand was conveniently just off the autoroute. Good protected parking and very efficient check-in. (And they are DOG FRIENDLY). Rooms are what you expect, although our room was way too warm and even we couldn't regulate the temperature satisfactorily. Not sure what was going on, but the thermostat was not responding. The best part: The food offerings at the Novotel are excellent. A very good bar menu of bistro fare, including Croque Monsieurs. But the...

Le buffet n'était pas réapprovisionner, nous avons dû réclamer le réapprovisionnement des viennoiseries, puis du pain, puis du fromage et jambon ... Nous avons abandonné pour réapprovisionnement du jus de pomme. Après 30min d'attente, le buffet était plein mais perte de temps c'est dommage.」
