It is an older hotel but it was very clean, plenty of parking, the pool area was nice with lots of seating. It has a nice coffee shop and Pinky’s restaurant was very good. The Pinky’s beach bar had a good selection and a nice area to sit. It is in a perfect location and you can walk to all the bars, restaurants and gift shops. We will stay here again.

Pinky restaurant was mediocre, and the service was not good. The front counter was okay, but not very enthusiastic. The room was disgusting with pubic hair and head hair everywhere, especially in the bathroom.

Great Location, Room was not very clean, floor was very dirty, we had to go to the store and get cleaning supplies to clean it. The air condtioner made weird noises and there was no ventalation in the bathroom so after showers everything was soaking wet. The elevator could take up to 5 mins to get to our floor. The lobby and Pinkys was very nice and the spot on the beach and views were great.

Amazing beachfront views, sunrises and sunsets. Clean room. Great restaurants and shops right across the street. Pinky’s decor was neat and food really good. Cafe inside hotel had delicious grab and go coffee & food. Need exhaust fans in the bathrooms, need to fix broken elevator and the floor of the one working elevator. Staff all pleasant. Would stay here again.

The view of the ocean was the only good thing about my room. The air conditioner didn't cool, no coffe pot,refrigerator didn't work,broke ice machine,stayed on 9th floor one elevator broke also could have had a microwave per request found out last night there. The only good thing about stay was staff Kat and Ernest. If I could have stayed in the lobby would have been amazing very disappointing paying well over 300 a night. I will never go back to the Tides again.

Great location. Great onsite restaurant and cafe/snack store. Only one elevator was working and posed a real inconvenience. Lights were out on our floor (floor 3) in the hallway (which is outdoors). It was not only unsafe because you couldn’t see - it felt unsafe because a nook by the ice machine was pitch dark- and someone could easily hide there. Seems like replacing light bulbs would fall under basic maintenance…

The best thing about this hotel were the pictures online. It is dated, in desperate need of an update and the room we stayed in was very much in need of a deep clean- not just a wipe down. There were multiple hairs in the bathroom, the walls had smeared dirt, curtains were broken, the grout in the shower was mildewy and dirty- the wall tiles looked as if they’ve only even been wiped down, and never cleaned. Everywhere you looked there was either, mildew, water damage or peeling/cracking walls or floors throughout the entire property.

Overall, this is a good hotel. The view is excellent and easy access to the beach and the pier. The Pinky’s restaurant being downstairs was also convenient. Our complaints would be no microwave, no gym, and bad ventilation in the bathroom.

It was my husband birthday and we always wanted to stay there because of the location and the restaurant and bars that it’s surrounded by but my room I booked I mold so they accommodate us to another room but my stay was everything and the restaurant/bar down stairs called Pinky’s is really good and has really good food and drinks

The pool was disgusting no towels the whole time we were there construction was going on. We couldn’t sleep. There was just banging all night. Looks nothing like the pictures. My shower wasn’t cleaned at all. There was clumps of hair everywhere when I brought it up to the manager, he told me he could give me a $75 refund out of 1800 which is insane. Poor hotel for a huge price. I absolutely do not recommend which is sad because I don’t complain about hotels or really anything because maybe I just came on a bad day but I was there for 10 days and it never got better. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Great location! Concierge staff were super friendly! Only one elevator worked so it was long waits and you would think housekeeping staff would allow patrons to get on first but they would get on with carts two at a time and not even speak. Overall you can’t beat the location and everything could be overlooked because of the views and hospitality of everyone else.
