Charming and cozy cottage in Davidson, NC

Come enjoy an updated and quiet home in the countryside of Davidson! Here you will find a renovated cottage on 0.75 acres just 8 miles from downtown Davidson and 12 min from Davidson College. 20 min to Lake Norman, 30 min to Uptown CLT/CLT airport, and 15 min to Charlotte Motor Speedway. Home offers large front and back yard surrounded by trees, 2 bedrooms (1 queen bed each), and 1 bathroom. You will have entire cozy cottage and property to yourselves, free to enjoy all the space and greenery.
The space
Private location on 0.75 acre in a country setting in Davidson. Entire small home has been renovated including 2 bedrooms with 1 queen bed each and 1 bathroom. Farmhouse sink and butcher block countertops with new stainless steel appliances in kitchen. Coffee pot with complimentary coffee and tea included. Foldable high chair and pack and play available for our families traveling with littles. Foldable desk also at hand for our guests who need a dedicated computer space. Dining set on patio to enjoy the scenery during meal times and fire pit in the backyard.
Guest access
Gravel driveway leading to property and home entrance that is accessible with a code. Plenty of parking along driveway. Free access to property including front and backyard. Driveway along right of property leads to a separate property located at the back of this one. Please avoid these areas.
Other things to note
The hammock is kept in one of the bedroom closets. We don’t leave it out all the time to protect it from the weather. Please feel free to use it but please return it to closet once you’re done using it.

Short & Sweet Visit

Rented this cottage as a place to stay while visiting family for a weekend. It was perfect! Good size rooms, smaller living space but honestly didn’t need anything more and so well done with size of furniture and spacing. Quiet minus some noise from the main road. Very kid friendly which was much appreciated! Definitely would stay again and recommend!

This is our second stay at this charming little place. It was perfect for the two of us. If you love the back country roads getting to this place and the sounds of crickets chirping at night as we did, this is the place for you! The house immaculately clean, great appliances and everything you need in the kitchen. Great and we will be returning!

Great little house

Perfect stay for a long weekend while in town for a golf tournament. Only suggestion would be to add a larger television and possibly one in each bedroom. Comfy beds if you like memory foam. Well stocked kitchen and toiletries provided. Quiet neighborhood and cool to drive down Dale Earnhardt Drive. Would stay here again and highly recommend.

It was a great stay. Only cons were no body soap in container and the fenced in yard was great but no where to dispose of dog clean up. It was a very cute house and everything worked out perfectly for the wedding.

JUST PERFECT!

Me and my husband came for a quick weekend getaway and this place was just perfect!! Very cute and clean. Easy to find. It is out by itself but that was even better for us. Couldn’t say enough good things about this house. Beds were extremely comfortable:)

Truly enjoyed this home! Small but all you really need. Nice set up. Perfect yard and very clean. Nice to let us check-in slightly early due to wedding events. Thank you!! Cons no kitchen rag or scrubby to do dishes or wipe counters. Maybe an oversight. Not enough washcloths for the 4 of us, or paper products and only one trash bag. Unless we totally overlooked.

We were visiting Davidson College and this rental was close by yet out in the nearby country. Only about 10 minutes away. Beautiful home, had everything we needed. Comfy beds.

Home away from home

I stayed 6 weeks at this charming bungalow. My husband was with me for several days at the start and then again the last few days. Several girlfriends visited for a few days as well. We all enjoyed the tranquility and sounds of crickets at night. While there the owners had a fence installed in the rear. My pup loved the off leash freedom. Owners reside behind this house on another lot. Ben and Ilvana very accommodating and responsive To renters needs. They also have 2 dogs that love attention and treats. Would definitely consider returning for another extended stay.
