We really enjoyed our stay. The people at the front desk were great. One gentleman was training another. The man doing the training was so friendly and funny, so we felt right at home. I didn't get to talk to the guy he was training very much, but he was also very kind.
I didn't give a full five stars due to a w minor inconveniences.
The biggest inconvenience has to do with electrical stuff. The room phone didn't work so I couldn't call the front desk from the room. In addition to this, the outlets were quite worn out, so our chargers really struggled to stay in them. We have basic charging blocks, but they were still too heavy for the loose outlets. Thirdly, the bedside lamps would flicker quite a bit for long periods of time. Really not that big of a deal --except I had to convince my littles that the hotel wasn't *actually* haunted.
The only other minor inconvenience was the main elevator going out. We were on the 5th floor and, while they did put an 'Out of Service' sign up, they didn't include any information about there being another elevator at the end of the building. They told me after I inquired about how long it would be until it would be in service again.
So, those were the downsides, but the hotel felt very safe to me, it was clean and comfy. The pillows were fluffy and the beds were great. I slept like a baby. I would definitely stay again.
