I appreciate it my stay at the courtyard for the fact that the people of the staff were very polite helpful and kind. The cleaning staff was very careful and polite when communicating with the people in the room for any of their needs or for cleaning and the room was very clean and comfortable. This was the first time that I accepted a room near the elevator because the elevator was very silent and not noisy as I have noted in other hotels where I had to move my room. All in all my stay was good and it's obvious that the planners who located the hotel had it on a road which did not have much traffic at all which was greatly appreciated. If I were to recommend a hotel to a person coming to the Charlotte area I definitely would recommend the courtyard. Upon leaving I noted that my invoice was correct and there were no surprises which also was a plus. I trust that this review will be helpful to people who are looking for a hotel room in the Gastonia area of Charlotte where this hotel is located

The reception lady was very rude 😒 and the didn't have any towels at rugs.. also no pool towels and the pull out bed didn't have the correct size or have sheets.

I would not recommend anyone staying there. The rooms are old, filthy and smells like urine probably due to the dog-friendly environment. The small fridge doesn’t work half of the time and of course, there’s no microwave. Also, with me being a night shift RN, I’d normally pay for one night early, go into work and in return, I’d ask for late checkouts around 4pm, especially being a weekly loyal customer for months….but apparently, half of the time I get harassed and “barged in” by EVS around 12pm without knocking (even though they “agreed” to work with me). Since they’re not valuing my long-term business, I wouldn’t recommend a business that has no compassion or loyalty to their customers.

We arrived late and so the room we originally reserved wasn’t available but Napoleon made sure we were taken care of. The room we ended up in was very spacious with a private balcony. My favorite part, besides the welcome massage on the TVs (😊) was the double shower head and mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles. So convenient and the water pressure was great so I almost felt I was getting a massage!

Room wasn't fully clean. Found cracker wrappers by the bed side among other things. Hot tub was not working at the time of this stay, all but 1 jet was broken. Walls were pretty thin, was woken up several times one night from people a floor or two up having an argument.

The room ceiling must of have a previous leak and the ceiling was stained and paint chipping from the ceiling. I was there for six days and was told housekeeping don’t clean the rooms everyday. The bathroom wasn’t clean properly from the first day. I had to buy cleaning products and clean the bathroom. Then when I asked front desk to have someone clean just the bathroom the following two days housekeeping did come but that bathroom was not cleaned and the towels were just changed and they did make the bed. The toilet keep running had to request twice that it needed to be fix. Requested a new room on day two and was told no other rooms were available with a balcony.

A lady who apparently stays here long term, let her dog 💩 out by the fire pit 2 times. Instead of cleaning up after her dog, she just continued to talk bad about the facility. We tried to get in the hot tub 3 different times but, it was constantly filled with kids. The toilet was dirty, so we did not use it. The tub stopper was stuck in the closet position,we had to prop it open just to shower. We had to call the desk to get someone to fix our TV, but after he left, it still would not work. (Pandora) We paid for breakfast,but when we went down there to eat, nobody was serving food. We have stayed at Bonvoy Marriott before in other locations, but this was by far the worst trip.

Booked a room for my daughter’s 11th birthday sleep over and we had 3 roaches in our room. The last one one of the girls woke up to a roach crawling on her… I was disgusted and we left 4 hours before our checkout time smh
