The motel is on the main road in Charters Towers and very noisy. Most of the day and night there are cattle trains travelling past - just a warning if you are a light sleeper or travelling with children. The family room we stayed in didn't have a lock or latch on the bathroom door and the door wouldn't close if you were in the shower as the two doors blocked each other. The night before staying here, we stayed in a new, two bedroom, two bathroom motel with full kitchen, etc for the same price we paid for this open room. The beds are very comfortable and the staff are lovely. Our kids also loved the pool. Overall, it would suit anyone who only needs a room for sleeping in, not to spend much time in.

The motel is set in a nice quiet area of town with lovely gardens and is a very nice and well cared for motel a credit to the staff and manager. Lovely clean and well set out rooms and plenty of room to park a four wheel drive car. Loved the stay would definitley stay there again and highly recommend the motel.
