This detached, single-story house is located near other residences. It comprises a living room with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen and dining area (seating for 6), a lounge area with two sofas, a television, and Wi-Fi. Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove, and there is reversible air conditioning. The house has two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed (160x200cm), and one bedroom with a double bed (140x190cm), as well as a shower room and a toilet.
Outside, you can enjoy the private swimming pool (8x4m, 1.40m deep, saltwater, unheated), open from May to October and secured by a safety cover. You will also have access to a pool house with a ping-pong table/garden table, darts, basketball hoop, bar, gas stove, double sink, beer tap, refrigerator, extra crockery, shower, and toilet; as well as a pétanque court. This cottage is located very close to the village of Château-l'Évêque and near Périgueux, a designated "City of Art and History" (St. Front Cathedral, Tour de Vésone, Gallo-Roman site, Medieval-Renaissance site, Mataguerre Tower, museums, etc.), and 16 km from Brantôme, "The Venice of the Périgord" (abbey and village). Also worth visiting are the castles of Bourdeilles and Puyguilhem, the Villars cave, the village of St. Jean de Côle (Floralies festival on the weekend of May 8th), the Truffle Ecomuseum, and the truffle trails in Sorges.
In the village, a small market is held every Sunday, 700 m from the house, where you will also find a bakery/grocery store, a medical center with a pharmacy, and a hairdresser. Two city bikes are available for your use.
