From pasture-raised eggs and grass-fed beef to house-cured bacon and seasonal specialties, every item we offer is produced with care on our land. While meals aren’t provided, guests can pre-order select farm-raised items to stock their fridge or fire up the grill for a true taste of Quail Run. It’s a fresh, local experience you can taste—without ever leaving the property.
Farm Tours Available
Looking for an up-close look at life on the farm? Guests are welcome to book a guided tour of Quail Run Farm. These casual, family-friendly experiences offer a chance to meet our animals, explore the pastures, and learn about regenerative farming practices—all just steps from your door.
The Best of Both Worlds
Quail Run Farm offers the best of both worlds—peaceful countryside charm just five minutes from the heart of downtown Chattanooga. This unique spot lets guests enjoy quiet mornings on the farm while still having easy access to top attractions like Rock City, Ruby Falls, the Incline Railway, and the Tennessee Aquarium. Whether you're craving a night out or a nature-filled escape, Quail Run’s unbeatable location makes it easy to do both.
Guest Access:
Your unit features a digital keypad at the front door for easy, private access — your code will be provided at check-in. The home is entirely yours during your stay.
Beyond your front door, Quail Run Farm is yours to explore. This is a working farm, so we ask that guests be mindful and follow all posted signage. Roam the grounds, sign up for a farm tour, try an outdoor cooking class, or check out one of our on-site property events (fees may apply). And be sure to say hello to Sampson, our resident farm dog — he's the unofficial welcoming committee and never turns down a good scratch behind the ears.
The Neighborhood:
Quail Run Farm is a 120-acre working regenerative farm just 15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Out here, rolling pastures meet views of Lookout Mountain — and the pace slows down just enough to feel like a real escape. But you're never far from the action. Downtown Chattanooga's restaurants, breweries, and attractions are a quick drive away, and outdoor adventures like hiking, rock climbing, and paddleboarding are right around the corner. Closer to home, explore the farm's trails, sign up for a farm tour or outdoor cooking class, and grab farm-fresh eggs, grass-fed beef, or house-cured bacon to cook up during your stay. It's the best of country living with city convenience just down the road.
Getting Around:
We recommend having a car during your stay — there's plenty of parking on the property. Uber, Lyft, and local taxis are available in the Chattanooga area, though availability can be limited in rural areas.
The city of Chattanooga offers reasonably priced parking on the street and in several public parking lots.
A free electric shuttle bus runs between the Chattanooga Choo Choo and the Tennessee Aquarium with stops at every block. The buses run every 15 minutes, Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 10 pm, Saturday from 9:30 am to 11 pm, and Sunday from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm. Bus schedules may vary, please consult the Chattanooga Area Regional Transit Authority website for the most up to date schedules.
Bike Chattanooga offers bike share rentals at 42 self-service kiosk locations all around downtown Chattanooga. With over 300 bicycles and 50 e-bikes this is a great way to explore the city. Visit Bike Chattanooga’s website to learn more.
Other Things to Note:
We have a guardian Great Pyrenees who protects farm animals from coyotes. He is gentle with other dogs, but does like to play. If your dog is not friendly or doesn’t like to play, it’s probably not wise to bring your dog. We can’t put Sampson up because he has to guard the livestock.
We require a signed rental agreement to book.
Please note our cancellation policy.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.
NOTE: Farms and animals are wonderful, but we are not liable for any injury or illness sustained from exploring the farm, including engaging with animals, swimming in the pool, fishing at pond, interacting with any wildlife, or riding or operating any equipment (yours or ours).
Interaction with Guests:
All of our units are equipped with keyless entry systems that make check-in and check-out a fully automated process. Full instructions will be provided prior to your check-in date.
If you have any questions, comments, or experience any difficulties during your stay, our team of dedicated, locally based Guest Services representatives are on-call and available to help from 8 am to 11 pm every day.

The red roost cabin was beautiful! I loved working and watching the sunrise on the deck looking over the mountains! We bought bacon and ribs from the store delicious. Samson the farm dog was the sweetest and greeted us daily! We loved the area unfortunately I'm nursing my knee and couldn’t hike anywhere! We will definitely be back and next time rent the silo!
The cabin was super cute and well stocked. It was very clean as well but did have stink bugs in the cabin. Unfortunately, its just that time of year for them. Its a quiet, relaxing place but there is not much to do at the farm or in the area. We also felt it was a bit overpriced with the base price being 162 and then with all the fees added it was 341 dollars for one night. Not sure why that happened as it was not the price stated when booking. Overall a cute little place to stay! Thank you for the stay!
