“This house is perfect for a family getaway. It's a short drive to Buckroe Beach, local parks and downtown. The neighborhood is full of families and children. The house itself is beautifully decorated to give you that "I'm on vacation at the beach" vibe. But moreso than that, it has the most thoughtful extra touches - there are beach chairs, there's a Pack n Play and a kitchen booster seat in case you have a little one, there's a big yard so the kids can go outside and get out of your hair. Although I did not use the kitchen for any cooking, it is equipped with all the essentials needed for any meals that you may want to prepare. The bathroom is a little on the small side but functional, the lighting is BRIGHT and PERFECT for makeup application! The bed is very comfy, too! “Great stay, the house is very conveniently located (50 feet to the beach, 0.5 mile to a Harris Teeter). There's some beach stuff (chairs, a beach cart, an umbrella, a few body boards). A few things to consider when renting this house:1. Bring a few knives. The ones that are there are super dull2. Bring spices, sugar, and salt 3. There's no AC in the smaller bedroom. “We stayed at this property for 3 nights. The property was very clean. They had toothbrushes in both of the bathrooms that were still in their packaging. I thought that was very thoughtful even with the body wash, shampoo and conditioner even though we didn’t use any of it. But I liked that they had that out there just in case you forgot yours.
