While not quite as fancy, it is a well-maintained comfortable location located a couple of blocks from Yale and all the great things in downtown New Haven, but at much less cost than the others, and the convenience of its self-park garage with a walkway over the street is fabulous (the others have no parking and valet is required). The hundreds saved staying here in a nice relaxed location will pay for the rest of your trip."

"We have stayed here many times before, while visiting my daughter, while she was attending Quinnipiac University. The motel is very convenient to all amenities in the area and close to her school and rental home. Never had a problem. "

"The location of the hotel was great for us. It has a SPECTACULAR view of the Connecticut State Capital and the surrounding green space. Be sure to ask for the view room, as this was what made the stay worthwhile. It was a 10 minute walk to Dunkin Park, a minor league baseball stadium. Attending an event there was the reason for our stay. The adjacent neighborhood is not great. The hotel, while clean, is old and not in top condition. The room itself had been updated, but the bathroom showed a lot of wear."
