"Very nice stay! We enjoyed the privacy of the cabin with proximity to Lake Lure. The cabin was perfect for our 3 generations: main floor BR for 89-yr old, plus 32-yr old w/ 2 dogs, and 68-yr old middle. Varying needs and all met! One cautionary comment, and the reason for my one 4 star rating (accuracy of listing) - the fenced dog yard is secure and big, but it's very steep (not apparent in the pic), both the yard itself and the access steps. "My husband and I stayed at this property a little over a year ago, and decided to return for a few days to get away from the hustle and bustle at home. The place is truly gorgeous...well furnished and stocked with all the essentials. The two screened porches are a BIG asset in mosquito territory, and the gas fireplaces are just right for those cool mornings and evenings. A great quiet place for couples, but also big enough for the whole family. Had a great time!"

"I stayed here while attending a show at TIEC. It's about 20-22 mins away which is not bad, you just have to plan for meals as everything is a little further away. It was nice to have a quiet place to get away from the busy show atmosphere so I would recommend this if you are showing at Tryon or just visiting the area."

"Pro,s .. very nice house/cabin. Secluded in woods close to chimney rock and lake lure .. nice dec & a hot tub to relax in. Cons …. Had to get internet hooked up. .. no screens on windows to get fresh air. Chair had bad smell & beds sunk to the middle."
