"When we arrived we saw immediately that the sofabed in the lounge was broken and could not be used to sit or sleep on, this was disappointing as it meant there were not enough beds for us all. We contacted the owner and the next day a chap arrived with an airbed. We requested that the sofa be replaced but that did not happen. "The house met our needs perfectly. We travelled as a family of 8 , grandparents, children and grandchildren. We had everything we needed and the property was clean and comfortable. Even with three cars we never had a problem parking close by. A choice of supermarkets within a few minutes drive made life easy. The centre of Bishop Auckland is easily walkable too. We had wonderful weather and enjoyed sitting on the decking at the back of the property which is a real sun trap."

"We found the property easily although tricky to park due to steep hill but we could easily park a little way down.Property was as described and very clean. Furniture and fitments were fine. Beds were ok. Plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen had plentiful equipment, missed having a teapot though. Very handy for Gills takeaway food, fish and chips was huge. Would stay here again."
