Boat house on the sea.
Boathouse is literally sitting on the ocean. With high ceilings, wood floors and beautiful views makes it one of Cheticamp's best rentals. Walking distance to Whale Cruises, restaurants, bars, and cofee shop, property is perfect. Only 10 minutes to the National Park. You will fall in love with the view, the ocean, the sal air and the sound of boats going by with their catch of lobster. Make this space your central location to visit the island. This is ground level, upstairs another rental.
There are two bedrooms in this rental and one king size bed in the open concept living room. There is another unit on the second floor.
Parking is street side. It is very well lit and we have never had any issues, it is a very safe area:)
The downtown area is quite nice and you are situated right on the boardwalk. Please take the time to take a stroll by the water and drop in at Marquerite boutique et Provisions for a fresh coffee and locally baked goods.

Amazing location and fantastic layout. Terrific ocean views and very central to numerous restaurants and bars. Joeleen was always quick to respond to questions and requests. She had really great suggestions for things to do and see in the area. The Boat House was very clean and extremely comfortable. Would recommend staying here if you are in the area.

This house by the sea was absolutely delightful! Everything you need including great coffee and super comfortable mattresses is in the house. The hosts are wonderful people and they were always super friendly and helpful. The amount of sea birds that you can watch while chilling on the deck is incredible both in number and in diversity of species. Going to sleep with the sound of waves made for an extraordinary snoozing experience. Cabin is convenient to walk to restaurants and bars and enjoy Cheticamp. I would recommend it to anyone.

Pictures dont do justice to this place! It has the most wonderful deck right on the gulf of Lawrence opposite the Chéticamp island. It’s the perfect spot to see sunsets, which we did every evening while there. The house is provided with everything one might need in terms of essentials and more. A full kitchen , bathroom with some toiletries and towels , a fast wifi and a pizza place right next door for your late night cravings The owners gave amazing recommendations and they are always accessible through chat! One more thing, the Skyline trail can be closed without notice if the number of tourists exceed a certain predefined limit. But since this cottage is around 20 minutes drive to the trail we could come back whenever we wanted and in non peak hours to make the most of it. We are Actualy thinking of coming back here for the winter , not sure how that would be :-)

It was just great! Loved having the washer dryer, and lots of other small touches that made it extra nice. TV lost its feed and I received a message within 15 min how to try to fix it and it worked. Also liked the suggestions on what to do and where to go. Of course being on the water was perfect.

Beautiful location and accommodations over and above!
My three sisters and I stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the property and the town. Very well stocked with linens and kitchen ware. I would stay here again and most definitely recommend it to other travelers!

Awesome
Location, view and cleanliness was great. Fully stocked kitchen with dishes, pots,glasses and utensils. The dishwasher, washer/dryer were appreciated. The hosts were quick to respond to any requests we had. We will definitely be back again.

Fabulous views
Lovely property right on the waterfront in the centre of Cheticamp. Fabulous decking surrounding the house which we had access to , with comfy seats and a bbq. The house has two quite small bedrooms, one single , one double , ( also a double bed in the living room) a small but very well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom and a great living space. There was a lay by in front of the house for parking and an amazing ramp for access. There was limited hot water , so a few cold showers!!! The house was cosy.It was in a great place to walk to local shops and restaurants and with great access to the Cape Breton Highland Park by car.We had a fabulous few days here.

We were delighted with the layout and the view. The sound of the waves splashing against the wharf was very soothing. Beds were comfy, kitchen was nicely stocked. Good communication with the owner. Overall, a lovely place.

Such a lovely place to stay! Right on the ocean, wonderful view of Cheticamp Island. It was fun to sit on the deck and watch the cattle, herons and eagles on the island. The hosts were very helpful, sending messages with all information needed including things to do and where to shop and eat in the area. Very restful!
