This is the first time I am writing a negative review having stayed at many VRBO properties over the last 10 years. This property was ill equipped: no dish towels, no cutting boards, no dish cloths, no ice (no ice trays), no extra blankets. The blankets we did have smelled like the previous folks staying there - not a bad smell but a human smell. The sliding door to the porch was very challenging to open. And check in - we had a number of last minute issues that got resolved but were a surprise. It feels like a money maker for the owner who doesn’t want to put any time or effort in the property.

Quiet neighborhood, great for evening walks!
As advertised. Comfortable. Plenty of space for a family. We enjoyed walking past the pond and geese - convenient to oak brook area and Graue mill natural areas.

Pictures did not match experience
The first impression/ appearance of the property was not pleasant, as the grass had not been cut and the shrubs had not been attended. The unleveled driveway made it difficult to walk on leading up to the stairs. The bath tub was not clean, bathroom rugs were dirty, not enough towels for guests. The filter/exhaust in the bathroom ceiling was filled with dirt and thick dust. We could not access the deck as it was taped shut and the dirt and film on the sliding doors was quite visible. The kitchen appliances were good and the beds were comfy. An alarm on property is needed.

Great family spot
