Very disappointed.
After 3 years of Covid, first time ever return to this once favorite hotel in Ohare, quite disappointed, Wifi not working, I check-in on Wed. night, the first clean of my room only done on Friday afternoon, even the house-keeper had very rude attitude. No idea what happened, forced me to change my stay to other hotel next time.

Room was dirty, property felt dingy, our air conditioner was broken in a way that it made constant thunking noises, and at breakfast no one was cleaning at any time so the waffle/hot item bar was disgusting with waffle batter, chunks of eggs, etc. I was promised I’d get a refund so hopefully that actually happens, but I would never stay here again. The the staff was nice-ish, but none of my very real and legitimate issues were handled at any point.

So dirty I wore flip flops in the shower. Hair on the “clean” sheets and countertops. Old food on carpet. Pool is in disarray. Room was right down the hall from front desk and they did nothing to stop other guests’ loud shouting in the hallways that lasted until 3am!

I used my Expedia account to book a 1 King Bed suite room, and pay at property. They tried to charge my card without my permission. I was not happy about that because I needed to move some money around, and I thought I was going to pay at the property. When we arrived I ended up with a double Queen bed room…. Apparently, the hotel was fully booked and couldn’t change my room. The room we got needed swept under the bed, and in the corners. Needed a wipe down around the coffee maker, bathroom walls, the wall near the room door, and end table. The shower curtain needed replaced, it was ripped at the top and had a few holes, and the pole was not screwed in all the way. No bathroom exhaust fan, which will create mold soon. The sink drained really slow. The air conditioning didn’t blow out hard enough. The beds felt ok, springy. The UBS charging port didn’t work. The pool area: needed attention on the walls, the bottom of the wall needed scrubbed, the hand rail on the pool steps was wobbly, some pool chairs needed cleaned or replaced due to rips. Outside the pool patio: the chairs were a hot mess, the door key wouldn’t work to open the door, and door didn’t get clean all the way. Breakfast was good, and the staff was nice.

Location needs a deep clean. Vents are all covered in inches of dust. Beds are hard and furniture is uncomfortable. Pool is very cold and hot tub is barely warm. Husband went into the hot tub the first day and when he got out and water evaporated, he said his skin was burning from the chemicals. Seemed like they kept adding more chemicals instead of properly cleaning it. Also, husbands keycard needed to be reset no less than 20 times while we were there. Very inconvenient. Location shares a parking lot with another hotel chain. Not sure if that place is owned by the same owners or is any better, but I would definitely not stay at this location ever again.

The beds were hard and very uncomfortable. We had teenagers in the next room and sounded like they were having wrestling matches. No one from the frotdesk came up to talk with them. Went to go do laundry in their facility and was out of order. Told me to go across the parking lot to the Hoiday Inn. There internet is very poor here. My daughter had a issue with her vehicle and could not get the ap to work on her phone. The frontdesk said that people were making them aware of the car, but they never text anyone staying there f ths was there vehicle. Besides every hotel I've stayed in you fill out on a card with a card with year, make , model, color and plate number just in case of an issue. They DO NOT. The bottlom of the pool is peeling. Don't know how often they clean it but a lot of hair. Bathroom walls were cracked and peeling so bad. Paint splatter on floor and cabinet shelves of sink. Smeared brown paint on the whites walls and left it. Had meet a few different people there that said they would never come back here.even if it was for free. Also breakfast was nothing to brag about. Thought i was eating powered scrambbled eggs like the Army. Oh and it takes about 7-10 mins to finally get ht water fr shwers.

This was a horrible experience. The room was nothing like the pictures or as described. It was dirty. No blackout drapes as promised. They said it was sound proof. It most certainly was not, and being close to the airport and the highway, it was very annoying. There was no clock in the room. After having left hotel to grab food, we discovered that our first floor windows, that opened all the way, were unlocked, and the screen had been popped out. Feeling worried about the safety of our belongings, we tried the safe. It was installed sideways, and did not open. We asked the front desk for help, and the guy didnt speak enough english to understand or help me. Another employee came and abruptly dismissed my concerns by telling me none of the safes work. To top things off, we then discovered that the emergency fire route information that is legally required to be in the room, was not for our room. So incase of a fire, we would be in trouble if we didnt realize it was for a totally different way. Telling the manager we felt dirty and unsafe, we asked of we could please cancel the next nights reservation. He again dismissed us with a no. Offered no apologies, assistance, or sympathy. Terrible
