2/10 Terrible

"Hotel requires a $100 deposit. I left a cash deposit of $100 that I was told I’d have returned at the end of my stay if nothing was damaged. I left the room with trash picked up, towels in a pile together and as good of condition as one should. Upon checkout, a maintenance person was asked to check my room. My deposit was only partially returned because a diet Dr Peppet had over flowed on the comforter when I’d opened it. I disagreed and the woman said because they had to wash the bedding they were wothjolding $40 of my deposit. Wouldn’t one expect the bedding to be laundered regardless? She refused to budge and stole my $40. "

"This property was just “ok”. The location brings down the star rating because even though it’s conveniently right off the interstate, it didn’t feel like a safe or “nice” area judging by the surroundings. The layout of the hotel was also very odd. The front desk wasn’t obvious when we walked in. You see a sitting area and the elevators first. (We thought we had walked in the back door) Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom, although very tiny seemed clean. The carpet however eas sticky at the end of the bed which caused me to keep my shoes on at all times after i discovered! Breakfast had decent coffee but not much else to write about. Stale bagels, nothing hot unless you count the hot water for the instant oatmeal. They had hard boiled eggs? some fruit, cereal and milk, and yogurt. I was fine with the offerings but my husband wasn’t. "

"The area was safe, well lit and had 24 hour security. Seems it’s being renovated. Part of our room was and part wasn’t. It had no chair and table to sit and relax while eating, only office chair and desk for computer. Had no hair dryer or ironing board. Had coffee and maker but no cups for coffee. No sugars or creamers for coffee. Had no ice bucket with cups available. No tissues. Only 1 roll of toilet paper for two queen beds room. Only had 1 set of towels for 1 person to shower. We had 2 people. Only had one tiny trash can in the room, not one in bathroom. Had no ash trays for our smoking room. No hand soap or hand towel for the hand washing sink. Had a live cockroach on the floor. Very noisy at night for sleeping. You have to pay $60 deposit on site at check in. Then it’s not refunded at checkout. You have to wait 24/48 hours for refunded. They do not just hold credit card it’s charged.breakfast was ok not really good. Beds were clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was excellent. Never seen staff except at check in and check out and when we had to ask for more bathroom towels because there was only enough for 1?person in a 4 person room, when we had to ask for toilet paper because only 1 rolll in room. Staff seen was ok but not great. Floor had dirty spots and so did bathroom trim and door. Refrigerator wasn’t very clean or cold. Microwave was ok. Shower was just ok not great. Pool was clean and nice. Overall I would not stay again here even with the price."

"We had a very enjoyable stay! The staff was very helpful and friendly. However, there were six people in our room. We had a little bit of a hard time getting more towels. If there are more than four people in their room, maybe make an exception with towels."

"Our room was nicely updated and clean. Our check in staff was unfriendly and didn’t seem very interested in helping us. We arrived 25 minutes early and she thought the world was ending. We offered to take a walk and come back. She decided to check if a room was available and yes there one ready. Wow that was hard…..Annoying and rude!"
