「We have really enjoyed our previous two visits to the Shepherds Retreat and our third visit was equally spectacular. We arrived during a storm but the accommodation was cozy and we didn’t feel exposed to the elements. I say we were lucky, because we had a beautiful walk on the beach and a couple of excellent walks in the New Forest and the weather was perfect for all of our activities. We will be returning again soon!」

「We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house for a friends reunion. The house is charming, comfortable, with great communal areas and cosy bedrooms. 「Cottage just georgous, lovely and quiet. We had a good rest whilst enjoying the local sites of Wells and Frome. We enjoyed a meal at the Oakhill pub at the end of the road, a very good recommendation. Beds were compfy, shower good, everything you need kitchen wise, garden great for our small dogs. The fire was great and we were kept very warm. For us, the sofa was the only downside. Ultimately we loved our stay ❤️」

「My partner and I spent a few days at Carol's beautiful home. She has created such a wonderful place to stay. We particularly loved the effort Carol has put into helping guests get out and explore the stunning local area with even small laminated cards with walking suggestions! 「We stayed at Hinton Lodge whilst visiting family and it made the perfect base. Everything was comfortable, clean and as described. Due to a last minute family emergency Clea was incredibly accommodating to some late minute changes, which was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend a stay if visiting the area.」

「Stay was absolutely fabulous. Upgraded my room to a King and the comfort didn't disappoint. The staff were always friendly and knowledgable for restaurant pick or as for me I needed to do laundry and the staff promptly let me know how to get to the Washing Well.
