This property was very clean. Cute, aesthestically pleasing. Process for check in was smooth, same as check out. Close to historic Chincoteague if walking. Tight parking for large trucks. Only complaint was the beds. Terribly uncomfortable. Otherwise, wonderful experience. Have rented with Island Getaways before and would highly recommend them for rental needs.

I thought the house was acceptable, and the host responsive. What I didn't care for was that I paid for nearly $200 in "extra fees" including a $95 "host fee" and cleaning fees, even though I had to: make the beds, request towels, remove all used linens and return to rental agency at the end, emptying trash cans, clean the house including emptying the fridge, and cleaning, drying and putting away all dishes. I get it, but to charge me EXTRA and then make me do all the actual cleaning (being forced to make the beds, return everything at the end, AND not even be permitted to run the dishes and leave them clean in the dishwasher. REALLY?) I could have stayed home and cleaned for free.
