"We were unable to stay in the first apartment as it had been double booked but was offered an alternative which we accepted.The apartment was ideally located and was excellent for 2 people. We were supplied with everything we needed and was more than happy with the support we were given.Any issues we had were dealt with promptly after contacting Kadesha who provided excellent support and ensured that our stay in Barbados went smoothly Will definitely stay there again!"

The Abidah by Accra - Adults Only

10/10 Excellent

"It was a lovely, quiet adult hotel on the south coast. The only thing that was loud was the ocean waves. Sitting in our own personal hot tub on our porch and looking out at the sea was so peaceful. The food was great with a menu from a different part of the world each night. The sargassum seaweed is unfortunately on the south and east coast of the island. This is no fault of the resort and an issue across the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico and tropical Atlantic. If you want to go to the beach just sign up for a free shuttle to go to the sister Accra resort further up the coast for the day."

"The staff are excellent. When we arrived, we were shown to a building with NO elevator. Because I have a neuromuscular disorder, I require an elevator. the staff switched us to such a building immediately. The staff at the buffet seated us near the buffet so my husband didn't have to bring my food far. Food was delicious with different foods every day. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable with a couch and chairs. The lanai was spacious with 2 chairs. The view was beautiful. The entertainment in the evening was delightful - amazing talents. Most wonderful is the friendly, helpful, and interesting people."

"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and eager to assist with anything I needed. Their friendly attitude truly made me feel valued as a guest. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. My room was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. One of the best features of this hotel is its excellent location. It was conveniently close to restaurants, shopping, attractions, and transportation, making it easy to explore the area without any hassle. Overall, my experience exceeded expectations. The combination of outstanding service, cleanliness, comfort, and convenience made for a memorable stay. I would definitely return in the future."

"We visited Barbados for the first time to celebrate our wedding anniversary and loved everything about our stay at Bougainvillea. The beachfront location, service, amenities, location, etc. were all incredible. We used public transportation the whole time and were within a 10-15 minute ZR bus ride of almost every major point of interest we wanted to visit (the Oistins fish market, west coast beaches, catamaran launch sites, and fine restaurants). The hotel’s well-maintained beach, water activities, live entertainment, etc. made our whole stay here remarkable."

"Room was spacious and clean. However, it was loud at night. The music from the bar, the neighboring field, restaurants next door, and the wildlife made it difficult to sleep our entire stay. While two twin beds pushed together is the same size as a king bed, it is not one bed and makes sleeping next to your spouse difficult. I would say our stay was just ok. If we ever came back to the island we would chose a different location to stay."

"A fantastic small boutique hotel for adults only. All rooms face the ocean with a balcony. The food was very good à la carte choices. Great views from the dining area. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Linda was such a nice lady. Went out of her way to help. Great personal touch. The staff know your names and will always be there to help with anything you need or want to do on the island All the waitresses and bar staff were lovely. The beach is small but sun loungers are available. Can get drinks at the bar and take them out. Ideal hotel if you are wanting a quiet and relaxing time. There is a great boardwalk right outside which goes along the coast. Great for walking and there are bars and restaurants along there as well. Highly recommended"

Rostrevor Hotel

4/10 Poor

"Staff was very good. The breakfast and bar service was above average. However, for 5 of my 7 day face cloth and beach towels which were supposed to be in the room was non existant. On my fifth day my A/C was dripping water and pots had to be strategically placed so water did not fall on the floor. A technician did come in to fix it and he was somewhat successful. It did continue to drip but a lot less. Also my outside electrical fan did not work. We did notice that other outdoor fans for other rooms were working. I have been staying at Rostrevor for the past 5 years but this was the worst yet."
