My quick layover at CHC
We arrived CHC pretty late at night and we decided to stay at Novotel Christchurch Airport for the night before our road trip in South Island. It was perfect place to stay. Dinner on the top floor was quite decent. Room is quite spacious, nothing to complain about except for we really don't know how to adjust the air conditioning and there seems to be no ventilation at all. The hotel was well sound proof and you dont feel like living right next to the airport. The walk from the airport to the hotel was just like 2 minutes, flat surface. Easy access with suitcases. There are only two counters so you might need to wait a bit for checking in and out. Staff are friendly. Lots of choices for the buffet breakfast. You need to pay extra for the white coffee though, which is quite odd.

Thanks for the feed back we are so glad you enjoyed your time with us in the hotel. Sorry about the air conditioning and that you where unable to get this working properly. We will soon be adding instructions to the room to help with this. Re the coffee not sure what happened here as the only coffee charged for at breakfast is expresso coffee such as Cappuccinos or Latte's. Other wise we do hope to see you again.

Perfect place to stay overnight after our flight arrived at midnight. Very efficient check in which got us to our room quickly. Unfortunately the bathroom sink drain was broken so we ended up with a sink full of water by the time left the next morning. And there was no hot water so we started our day with cold showers!

Wonderful room and a super comfortable bed. Very stylish. The staff couldnt have been nicer or more helpful and we ate at the restaurant and the meal was amazing. We will definately be back to stay again and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay.

This is the BEST motel experience i have ever had! The staff are super friendly and helpful. I had 3 suitcases, and a luggage trolley was delivered to my room in less than 3 minutes. My room was spotless and very cosy. Breakfast was AMAZING. 10/10 for me, and i will definitely be back😊 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel is located literally within the airport in an area that is easy to access. It is located directed across from where international arriving flights exit terminal.
