We arrived CHC pretty late at night and we decided to stay at Novotel Christchurch Airport for the night before our road trip in South Island. It was perfect place to stay. Dinner on the top floor was quite decent. Room is quite spacious, nothing to complain about except for we really don't know how to adjust the air conditioning and there seems to be no ventilation at all. The hotel was well sound proof and you dont feel like living right next to the airport.
The walk from the airport to the hotel was just like 2 minutes, flat surface. Easy access with suitcases.
There are only two counters so you might need to wait a bit for checking in and out. Staff are friendly.
Lots of choices for the buffet breakfast. You need to pay extra for the white coffee though, which is quite odd.
