We had a wonderful weekend at the cottage. The weather was beautiful Paul and Colleen were wonderful hosts. The cottage is beautiful, decks were wonderful. Had a great family dinner on the deck. Close enough to VT without all the crowds.

Great Stay at My Happy Place Cottage
This little cottage is comfortable and has everything you need during your stay. Paul and Colleen were great hosts and were very responsive. The cottage is decorated very nicely and was a great place to stay while moving in my daughter at VT. The cottage is very close to 460 and was easy to get to. The property was also quiet and beautiful.

Perfect location for swim meet & football game
This is our second time staying here for a swim meet. We love this little guest house, it is perfect for our family of 4. It is about a 5-6 minute drive to the Christiansburg Aquatic Center. Colleen and Paul are very accomodating and have fresh eggs and baked bread on the counter for you when you arrive!! The house is very clean and smells great. Love the mattress in the master and we always sleep great!! As long as this isn't booked, this is always my first choice VRBO for swim meets!!!!

The property was adorable and the house very cozy. The only thing is the refrigerator was SUPER TINY. We had 4 coolers of food due to a graduation party and there was no room. The hotel refrigerator held way more food than the house. That would be something helpful to know since the house can fit 5 people. Other than that, I would highly recommend this location!

Great little pad
4 adults fit comfortably. Very clean, neat, and tidy. Lovely decor. Yummy banana bread and eggs from their free range hens. Prompt replies to all our inquiries. Excellent situation - near town but on large semirural property. Deck outside with table and chairs. Might become our habitual pad when we visit our college student son in Blacksburg.

Happy Place
The house was perfect for us and Colleen is so sweet and thoughtful! The coffee cake, eggs, and hand written note made the stay even more special. We will book more dates in advance so we can attend games next year and only want to stay here! It was a great experience!

Bunny show fun
Host was friendly and easy to work with. The cottage was accurately depicted and very nicely done. It was a perfect place for my friends and I to stay while in town for an event. Would absolutely enjoy staying here again for future visits.

Second stay was as good as the first
This was our second time renting here and it was great again. Easy access and check in/out. Very clean, fits our family well. My kids love the bunk beds (they are 10& 8). It is a great location to Christiansburg Aquatic Center.

Perfect little space for my family
This place was perfect! Colleen greeted us when we arrived with zucchini bread and there were fresh eggs left in the fridge for us!! The place was very tidy and conveniently close to the competition pool that we were in town for. Place was well stocked and toiletries, spices, pots/pans and games that my kids enjoyed! Loved it so much we have already booked for next year! Host family was very sweet and accommodating!

Such a gem!
Stayed here with my oldest friend for a catch up/ girls trip and loved this property! It’s perfect for 2 people and every detail is thought of. Paul and Colleen were wonderful hosts (the banana bread was AMAZING) and communication with them was very easy. We will definitely come back!

Nice little cottage
We had a nice stay at this cute little cottage. It was a little odd to get to but once we figured it out it was no problem. It was very centrally located to where we need to be for my daughters swim meet and was close to downtown Christiansburg.

Our son met us there to visit his nephew/our grandson a student at VT. Having 2 bedrooms was convenient. Our son drove north and we drove south meeting at “my happy place”. It was nice and cozy. We enjoyed eating dinner at the table on the patio 2 nights.

Lovely place, great owner!
We had a lovely time staying here for the Va Tech Notre Dame game. It fit our needs perfectly. Place was clean, cute and comfortable. The owners were great with communication and even gave us some fresh eggs from their chickens which were delicious! Loved staying here. Hopefully next time we won’t be so busy so we could meet the owners and their dog.

We had a great stay at Paul and Coleen's place. It was only 15 minutes from VT's campus. The apartment was very clean and comfortable which was very important to us during these pandemic times. It was wonderful to have eggs and bread available for breakfast- thank you! We will definitely visit the local BBQ down the road during our next visit. Thank you so much!

Lovely little touches!
Paul and Colleen are fantastic. The cottage looks just like the pictures. They left fresh eggs from their chickens, and homemade cinnamon muffins that were delicious! The towels and linens are very nice quality. The bed is a foam mattress and probably a 9 on the softness scale, with 10 being the softest. Colleen, thank you for telling us the little places to check out in the area! It was a great stay, even though we cut it a bit short.
