We really enjoyed our time in our villa. We appreciated being able to relax on our patio to watch the waves and enjoyed viewing the stars at night. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed eating at the restaurants at the hotel, especially the Japanese food on the Thursday night of our stay. We will definitely return to Grapetree Bay!

I really appreciated the warm welcome from Juli and Digna. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Their kindness and willingness to help made us feel right at home. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely porch overlooking the ocean. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job keeping everything spotless, and they were just as helpful and friendly as Juli and Digna. The only downside was the potholes in the driveway, which made driving in and out a little difficult. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St. Croix.

Everyone we encountered were pleasant and helpful. The food was great. As a senior, this facility was very remote when touring the island and driving on the left side of the road was challenging at times. Also, the elevator doesn't work so getting to the other levels was challenging. Julie, the manager went out of her way to accommodate us.

My wife and I stayed at the Grapetree for a week and we absolutely loved the place! It was perfect, it was away from the noise and crowd of Christiansted and Frederiksted. The room was perfect for the two of us, the food was fantastic and the staff was very welcoming. Definitely rent a car because the hotel is far from all the attractions and beaches.

We had the best room there. Walk out the door and you’re on the beach. Everything was convenient but they don’t have elevators on St. Croix! The personnel were be friendly and aim to please. Good food also.

The only accurate comments to most of the other reviews was the clean room and good food. Not what I was looking for specially based on the excellent rating. Two restaurants and bars but only one opened at a time. The beach was not able to enter due to the fact that it is all rocks no sand really. The pool was nice but after 3pm you had to o to the lobby for food and drinks. There is nothing available after 10pm when the bar closes and the front desk closes. The convenience store really is only useful for some water and soda. The property is waterfront but the swimmable each not that easy of access. The better beach is on the other side of the Island. No elevator, so it was difficult with my luggage on the steps. Not a pretty place.

Very quiet, remote part of the island. Beach and forecast beautiful!! Sea turtles even laid their eggs on the beach. The beach is not swimmable, unfortunately. But that is not on the hotel! Highly recommend!

Grapetree embodies everything great about St Croix: friendly, quiet, clean, beautiful. We were only supposed to stay 3 nights but because of the military action in Venezuela, we were there EIGHT nights. The staff was amazing. They made a difficult situation a lifetime positive memory.

Stayed in a villa which is just a large room but it is right on the water with a nice patio, two chairs and a table. It was a 1 minute walk to the pool. Hotel is somewhat secluded on the East End, which I thought was good but my wife wanted some activity at night and there was not any. We did stay Sunday-Thursday and there might be more activity on the weekend when the steakhouse restaurant is open. Overall, nice clean rooms, pool is excellent, right on the water but no beach or swimming from the hotel area. Public beach is an easy 10-minute walk.
