「gorgeous place up in the woods. you wont see a neighbor or traffic. nice little brook out back with an excellent sound. Front porch rockin' chairs were a favorite. Franklin WV is 4 miles away with a few restaurants and groceries if you care. Kitchen was great and had all the necessary things. turn off all the lights and step outside at night and it is pitch black except for the stars. WIFI was very handy and TV had Samsung streaming apps.」

「The Rusty Lantern is a spacious cabin with all the amenities and a wonderful view of the mountains of West Virginia. Everything is spotless and nothing has been overlooked. The appliances look brand new and the furnishings and decorative touches tell a story as well as being lovely to regard. The hosts are super responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.」

We bright a projection tv because we knew there were no TVs and had a wonderful movie night. The stars at night in the hot tub were breathtaking. This is a book it again property. 「The cabin is extremely well-appointed and immaculate. The only thing we wished we had was more time to enjoy it! All appliances are brand new, with plenty of hot water and the heating system kept up with the 20 degree weather without issue.The scenery is amazing and during our week-long stay we were visited by three deer a couple of times and at least 6 types of birds. We enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck as much as we did the absolute peace and quiet, which made up for the 30 minute drive...
