Great Stay!

Lovely clean accommodation in the Cotswolds overlooking the lake. Great for a family get together, with walks on the doorstep. Has a communal games room and tennis court.

Home from home in and very well equipped

Mayfly Lodge is situated in a very pretty location and the number of various waterfowl kept us amused all day long. The lodge is very well equipped and the furniture and beds were very comfortable and the terrace at the rear of the property provides a lovely and uninterrupted view of the lake. There are a number of nice lakeside restaurants within a 5 minute drive and South Cerny is convenient for shopping.

Venue brilliant, lodge a bit tired looking.

The Cotswold Water Park was really lovely, - beautifully maintained and very peaceful. Unfortunately the lodges (which seem to be individually owned, ) varied in the quality of their maintenance). Mayfly Lodge looked a bit tired ( end of season?) There was less crockery, glasses etc than needed - especially for 6 - and the quality of the bedding and towels was not what I would have expected. We enjoyed our holiday, loved the lakes and the views, and the ducks at our gate were a delight.

Mayfly was a wonderful house exceptionally well equipped with every thing you will need ,very tastefully furnished,peaceful,but convenient for all local intreast ,would love to return ,The Wheatsheaf in North leach is wonderful Sunday roast amazing,

Celebration weekend

Lodge clean and tidy and lovely location, overlooking lake. Plenty of activities nearby in Cotswold Water Park, and Circenster only a 5minute drive away. Alternatively can get a bus, bus stop just outside location, but check times if returning in evening, I think buses stop running at about 8pm.

Lovely cottage- highly recommended

We had a really lovely stay in Mayfly lodge. The cottage is really well equipped with lots of little extras which made life a lot easier. It was exceptionally clean and and a lovely warm feel to it. The location was superb with water sports facilities just round the corner. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. Would definitely return.

Attractive New England Style Home

A lovely, comfortable house with a wonderful outlook. Very well equipped with an attractive interior and most comfortable seating. Also beautifully light. A home away from home. Had a lovely decking area to enjoy the lake wildlife and fountain.

Excellent stay

Although the stay was excellent, we were greeted with a very rough welcome. We were early and was told that in no uncertain terms. We was Only making sure we knew where to go and when this has happened at other properties we were welcomed with open arms and asked if we could go and come back and was pointed to a cafe or lunch spot. This did not happened and we felt very unwelcome
